Lily crashed into a hard body right after receiving kisses from her parents and brother. She looked up to see a pair of hazel eyes staring intently at her.
Freddie pulled her to him encircling her body protectively. Lily hugged him back breathing in his scent.
Today was her first case defending and all her loved ones were there to witness it.
Although Freddie wasn't there, he still knew what went on in there. He couldn't watch her directly but he promised not to miss it.
The hug had to end. Lily didn't want that t to happen. But Freddie had something else under his sleeves. He cupped Lily's face with both hands and sucked the life out of her.
Lily thought she was about to die. She was really taken aback.
I can't let this moment pass without engaging in it.
Lily kissed him back, sucking on his lower lip. She kissed back him with defence. The made it feel like war.
Though, it was her first time of kissing, she promised herself not to spoil it.
Freddie took his time to savoir her lips. Then he entered her mouth with his tongue. His tongue exploring every part of his best friend's mouth.
Lily felt goosebumps on her body. She felt hot on every part of her body. The hotness all rushed to in between her legs suddenly.
Freddie too felt it. And the edge to take a woman for the first time. He knew he had to stop. Else_
Lily pulled pack slowly. Her breathing had switched to a high pitched one. Who could have imagined a common kiss would make her breathing very high. Not even a high jump could make her that high.
Freddie maintained his hands around her waist. "Date me." He stated.
"Yes!" She replied without hesitation. Lily's lips curved into a slight smile. She didn't want to reveal her teeth. She had exposed to almost every body today.
They heard clapping and cheering. Lily saw a crowd of people with their phone cameras on them. She remembered they were all in the courtroom.
"You." She gave his left shoulder a light slap.
"Why didn't you tell me they were all here?"
"You should have realized. They were all in the courtroom." Freddie pointed at the courthouse.
Lily didn't feel embarrassed, but the fact that her best friend proposed to her in front of a courthouse was very intriguing.
They had been seen together on countless occasions. Him escorting her to get her awards and vice versa. Going to grand openings and shopping together.
Who would have thought best friends would one day became lovers.
"Congratulations!" He then pronounced his main agenda.
He hadn't in mind to propose to her. He guessed the atmosphere permitted it.
"Loved your speech giving. You know, you'd be my lawyer on the day of my ruling."
Lily pinched his left cheek to make him return to reality if he was dreaming.
"Don't say that. You're never going to go for any case ruling."
Freddie tightened his grip around her.
"Why do you say that? Anyone could be a victim!"
"Not you or any of our loved ones!"
She crossed it with her hands.
"Never!"
Freddie had to accept defeat.
"We should celebrate this!" He reasoned.
Without waiting for her answer, he led her to his car. All eyes were on them.
As gentle as ever as he was, all the people around felt like been the only two of them as he opened the passenger side for her and fastened her seatbelt.
"Where are we going to?" She asked later.
"I was thinking of going to waste the night." He took a quick glance of her as a sign of respect and focused on the road.
" With our company. They are even waiting for us over there."
Lily agreed with a nod. She had wanted it to be only the two of them since they just began their amorous relationship.
She liked the idea that their friends were already waiting for them.
