Aimee's POV
When we met alpha Jacob, my father, he had just finished his meditation. He was much calmer now, looking at us warmly and welcoming us with his wide smile.
"Aimee, Vincent. Come here, sit with me, I was just about to have breakfast, have you eaten?" Alpha Jacob asked.
Alpha Vincent and I exchanged glances and simultaneously shook our heads. Alpha Vincent then approached alpha Jacob, giving me a signal to follow him from behind.
"How did you sleep? Did you have sweet dreams, Aimee?" alpha Jacob asked me.
"She didn't sleep, so it's clear she didn't have sweet dreams, Alpha Jacob."
Alpha Jacob fixed his gaze on me. He then approached me and gently caressed my head. "Don't worry about anything, Honey. You'll be okay, I promise, you're safe now. I want you to stay here, stay with me, don't go away again."
I shook my head and looked at alpha Vincent. "What do you mean, Alpha Jacob?"
