Aimee's POV
The scene described was indeed not an exaggeration. This beauty truly deserved the label of perfection; I had never seen anything so breathtaking before. Perhaps what lay before me could be better described as a painting rather than just a regular view.
"Perfect," I whispered.
Alpha Vincent stood beside me and said, "Yes, you're right in saying that. It always hypnotizes me every time I visit your father's pack. Since I was a child, he always took me to enjoy this breathtaking view. I can swear there's no more beautiful sight than this in our region."
I turned to Alpha Vincent, and of course, the part about "your father's pack" was what made me feel uneasy.
"Ah, sorry, I didn't mean anything by it. It was just a reflex because I know what's going on between you two. I'm really sorry," Alpha Jacob, who seemed to have noticed the awkwardness, quickly apologized.
