Ray's POV
I doubled over as I barely managed to not vomit due to the nausea caused by portal travel. I quickly dusted myself and regained my bearings. I looked towards a shrine with a podium in the center of it. There was a floating runic crystal on it which seemed extraordinary at a single glance. I slowly moved towards the crystal and as I was about to come face-to-face with the podium I was pushed back by a greenish barrier. It wasn't long before I was interrupted by a system ping

A god's trial has been activated. Would you like to proceed (Yes/No)?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Without hesitation I pressed yes. Ofcourse, like everything else in my life something went wrong.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
WARNING!!!
The difficulty is automatically set to hell mode since it is detected that the trial runner has consumed a legendary grade elixir. Standard raid boss lesser goliath [F+] has been upgraded to raid boss lesser goliath [E-].
------------------------------------------------------------------------
"F*CK" I cursed loudly. Before I could start cussing the dungeon a system prompt appeared for the 3rd time.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is detected that the trial runner has no weapon. The dungeon is generating a weapon which is the most compatible with the trial runner
- Gained 2x standardized long swords (uncommon/green, 1 handed)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before I could take a peep at my gains a giant rocky hand swiped for my head. Instead of making contact it merely swung at air while I barely dodged the blade. I immediately yelled "System summon long swords.". 2 long swords each having a foot long, leather covered handle connected to a 2 and a half foot blade. Before I could finish admiring the blade another rocky fist shot towards me. I twisted my body barely before the hand made contact. Still the air pressure caused me to get blown back signifying that a direct punch would end me. I had two problems however, number one, the golem was a raid boss. So, even if its rank is E- it's combat power is of a E rank boss. Secondly, dual wielding is very difficult and since the longswords were one handed who couldn't use some moves of the silent shadow style art. Keeping his thoughts in the back of his mind, he took a good look his adversary. It was made out of rocks and took form of an oddly shaped ape. It had two cores one on the head and solar plexus respectively. It sent out another blow. I perfectly timed my jump, causing the the golem to kick up a cloud of dust due to the punch. The golem looked around confused. One thing to be glad about was that golem type creatures were dumber compared to other creatures of the same rank. Its confusion gave me a valuable opening to use my magic art. My ice art helped to freeze the legs of the golem. Before giving it anytime to break free I gathered about 30 percent of my mana in to my left hand and sword before throwing with all my might towards the golem's solar plexus where one of its power cores were situated at. The result was what I expected as I saw the crystal shatter before the golem breaking free from my ice mana. The stunt of throwing the sword and ice spell costed me 40% of my total mana. However the golem had been weakened to a F+ rank raid boss, dangerous but far easier to beat. The battle raged on. Despite the golem being dumber relative to creatures of the same rank it was still careful in not giving me time to cast the same immobilizing spell. As I continued to fight the golem the more and more, I seemed to improve more. Better parries, blocks, dodges, attacks, everything improved. This dance continued until the golem decided to put more weight into on of its punches causing an imbalance and briefly exposing the back of its head. I knew that I had one shot at this. I quickly gather mana at my right arm, around forty percent to be exact before leaping towards the head of the golem and using the first move, shadow stab, usable with one handed blades. It pierced through the golems head, destroying the mana crystal on it consecutively putting and end to it. It was over. I sat there mentally exhausted only to be broken out of my trance by a system ping.
