At the sight of the blue screen I cracked a smile. Finally the ordeal was over. I sat down to gather my bearings before opening my rewards list.

4) Weapon(s) (rare rank due to participant's low rank can be upgraded to epic rank)

Quite a windfall. Usually I would have had far more trouble with the trial but the elixir really helped me out. Although not on the status, I am sure that it boosted my abilities temporarily apart from the rank increase. It would make sense if I had not completely digested the potion as it is highly beneficial to even SS-rankers. Is it a waste? No, it helped me break my curse and it is going to be instrumental in aiding my rank increase. Anyways back to the rewards. Firstly fragment of limit.

Without second thoughts I consumed the fragment. It was quite anticlimactic. Apart from a small pain near my solar plexus, it was uneventful but the change it brought made me more than happy. now I am officially toe to toe with the main characters in terms of potential apar from the main character, Julian Hector. I moved on to my other rewards.

A HUGE WINDFALL!!! I have definitely graduated to major supporting role with this though my my battle experience and general rank is lower than main characters who are at least e rank with Julian Hector being borderline[ D-] rank. I immediately made my way to the pedestal which would activate the moment a bit of mana was injected. Again felt my body being pulled away before reappearing a few feet away from the ledge I climbed from. I did feel a bit nauseous but it was not that bad.
As I made my way to the floating platform, I encountered a problem. No, it wasn't any monster but my stomach. I kinda forgot about lunch. The growling of my stomach interrupted me from enjoying the view as i descended down the platform. Maybe I should come back later? I was quickly stopped from further thought when the platform docked on to the base of the mountain. As I made way to my transportation, I just stood in place, trying to take in everything which happened. I had been killed in an accident, got reincarnated into a world built by my most favorite novel and know I just killed a dungeon boss, though it was mostly thanks to Nero's memories.
A short drive later I stood before the door step of my house. However the door just flew open without giving me the chance to knock. On the doorstep stood my mother who quickly scooped me inside the house, half guiding and half forcing me to the dining table with bombarding me with a bunch of food and questions such as, "How did your little adventure go?" and " Did you get stronger?" Despite being a loving mother, she was still a bonafide A+ ranker and a vice guild master of a gold guild. As I was half way through my meal. My father came down as he whispered, "Just put Daisy to sleep dear, oh and did Nero break through?" I gave silent confirmation in the form of a nod.
"Oh dear have some food will you? We have to wake up early for that mission." Asked my mother. My father silently nodded. '' Oh and Nero take Daisy to school will you? Also, double check your luggage, ok?" I nod similarly to my mother before going upstairs. As I reentered my room jumped straight into bed not bothering to change my clothes as I looked forward to a new tomorrow.
