Zaydis gave Leon another strong hug before getting in the car to go to the airport. Leon waved with sad eyes as he watched them leave.
"It's okay, Leon. Boss will finish his work as soon as possible and be right back!"
"Un…"
"Ah, how about we look at your things the boss returned to you! Come on, let's see if you remember anything when looking at them."
Vander pushed Leon from behind and they went to the master bedroom that Leon shared with Zaydis. Leon was dejected but he opened the storage box with his stuff in it. His eyes immediately zoned into his phone.
"Ah, this was your phone. It's already fully charged so you can look at it right now."
"Oh…"
"Yes, there's a password to unlock the phone. Do you remember it?"
Leon shook his head. He placed it and looked at all the other things in the box. When he looked at everything, Vander left to do some work. He made sure Leon was fine by himself before softly closing the door to give Leon privacy and left. Leon glanced at the closed door before reaching over to pick up his phone.
"Why does my chest hurt so much?"
Leon was in a daze and he unlocked his phone without even realizing his own actions. His finger pressed into the game app.

"W-what is this?! My heart hurts. It's so painful… Ack!"
Leon clutched his head in pain. Images were scrolling in his mind.
"This…I was forcing myself to stay at the celebrity event with the fan club members…then I fell and got a nosebleed…wait, I passed out afterwards…but Zaydis saved me and then I lost my memories. I need to ask him to fix the game and return Kayden to me…But he just left and won't be back until 5 days later! What am I going to do?! And I think I lost even more memories!! I don't remember why I stopped playing the game or the period of 3 years 6 months and 9 days!!!"
Leon continued to clutch his hair and tugged as he spoke to himself. Leon looked down and noticed his glass jar. He unscrewed the lid and took out the plastic mini zipped bags. He saw that they were numbered.
[Name: energy stone.
> description: Kayden's game world.
> mission completion rate: 100%
> note: success! ]
Leon started reading them all and as he read, his hands trembled.
"I guess this is part of my memory that is missing. But what do I do to remember?"
Leon sighed and the door was knocked on.
"Leon, are you awake? It's time to eat."
"Yeah…I'll be down in a bit!"
Leon answered back to Vander. He put everything in place and back in the box. He kept his phone and wallet. He placed them in the deep pockets of his pink fox onesie. He saw an ad for the onesie and asked Zaydis to buy it for him. Zaydis spoiled him and got anything he asked for. Leon came down to eat and acted like usual. He came to like Zaydis, Dia, and Vander. They were a special family to him. He'll keep everything in and wait for Zaydis to return before telling them that his memories have returned. Right now, he's going to focus on trying to find the missing part of his memories.
"Tomorrow, Zaydis will finally return. But I still haven't remembered my missing memories…"
Leon laid in bed and fell asleep in a restless mood.
*honkkkk!* *Screechhhh!* *crash!*
'Ah, I haven't checked in for the daily mission today.'
.
.
"Um, is anyone there?"
'Congrats on being chosen. I am System No. 369.'
.
.
"AAAHHHH!!!"
Leon woke up with sweat soaking his clothes. He had dreamed pieces of memories. He had gotten hit by an incoming car because he wasn't paying attention!
"That car accident had killed me! How am I alive right now?? Wait…if I reenact the whole scene again, will I regain my memories? Or if I die, will I remember and return to that realm again?"
Leon flipped the covers off him and grabbed his phone. He had woken up an hour earlier than usual. It was still dark and the sun was rising.
"Young master Leon? Why are you awake so early? Master Zaydis's plane hasn't landed yet and it'll take some time to drive here."
"I'm sorry! I have something urgent to do!"
"Ah! Young master Leon, why are you running?! Where are you going?!"
Leon opened the door and saw that Vander just arrived in his car and was getting out.
"Nice! I can drive there and park the car nearby!"
Leon's instincts told him he knew how to drive a car proficiently. Leon rushed over to Vander's side and snatched the keys from Vanger's hands. Vander had closed the door and was about to lock his car with the keys before Leon popped up out of nowhere.
"Leon?? Why are you awake?? Wait!! Leon!! Unlock the doors and come out! You have no experience on how to drive a car!!! It's dangerous!!! Leon!?!?!"
Vander slammed his fists onto the glass and desperately pulled the car door handles repeatedly. He watched while he shouted in worry as Leon skillfully turned on the engine. Leon swiftly switched the gears and put the car on drive and pressed heavily down on the accelerator. Leon had watched outside the car when Zaydis took him out on trips to play in the city. He could easily remember the path there. Vander was dumbfounded as Leon drives like an old hand sports car professional driver.
"Wait! That car isn't built for extreme sports driving!!! I don't remember reading anywhere in his reports that says he could drive with that proficient skill!?!? Ahhhh, my tires! I custom built that car myself!!"
Vander panicked while saying his thoughts out loud. There were heavy steps from the entrance of the mansion.
"S-sir Vander! Did you see Young Master Leon??? He rushed off randomly and didn't even change out of his onesie or wear any shoes!"
"What?! He didn't even tell you where he's going???"
"N-no. We have to report this to Master Zaydis right away!"
The old butler was out of breath as he arrived at the opened doors. Vander was given a shock again and again.
"God damnit! I remember the way but why do I keep getting lost?! I'm wasting so much time! Wait, that street looks familiar…oh!"
Leon quickly parallel parked the car in an open spot and ran down a few blocks he recognised.
"Boss! Leon ran off with my car and we're trying to find him!"
"What happened?!"
Zaydis was with Dia as they were leaving the airport and received an urgent call from Vander. The two rushed to the parking garage and quickly went to search for Leon.
"That one! That is the crosswalk I got into in an accident! Just in time too!"
Leon ran to the crosswalk and stood in the same place as he remembers. He held his phone and checked the minutes and seconds tick.
'Now!'
Leon stepped and leaned forward as a car was speeding forward on the green traffic light. He closed his eyes and heard the familiar car honks and screeches.
"NOOO, LEOOONNNN!!!"
'Huh, was that Zaydis? Ah, I hope it isn't…That'll be traumatizing…ouch!…it hurts!'
Zaydis watched in horror as he saw Leon lean forward to incoming traffic. He had seen Leon running to the crosswalk and he quickly had Dia to park the car on the side to drop him off and go find an open parking space. He ran to the street and was crossing the street with the crowd to Leon's side. He was almost there and saw Leon move so he quickly raised his arms to grab him back. He had missed…his fingers felt the hood of Leon's onesie but he was not able to hold onto Leon and save him from getting hit by a car.
"...no, no. This can't be happening…I couldn't save you…I lost you…I lost you again…"
Zaydis weakly stumbled to Leon's heavily wounded body and fearfully checked his breath and pulse with trembling fingers. He tightly hugged Leon's body which was losing body heat extremely fast. He cried out with suppressed sobs filled with so much sorrow. Like a wounded beast that lost its precious and deep cautiously cared for treasure. Zaydis didn't care if the people around them had recognized him. He was too lost and painfully hurting inside. Dia rushed after Zaydis when she finally found parking space for the car. When she arrived, she was horrified at the scene. She watched her boss hug Leon's body and knew Leon was gone for good. Vander was contacted by Dia and also rushed to the scene. He pushed apart the crowd to meet her.
"Dia! Why are you just standing there?? Did you and the boss find Leon??"
Dia snapped out of her shock and instantly bent over gasping in the palms of her hands.
"L-Leon….h-he…"
"What?? Are you okay?! What's wrong??"
"B-boss…t..t-there…"
Dia was trying to calm her sobbing as she tried to tell Vander but she wasn't able to so she weakly raised her trembling finger to point where Zaydis was. Vander frowned with confusion before turning to look in the direction she was pointing at. Vander looked past the noisy crowd of people and saw Zaydis holding a bloody Leon.
"Oh…god…no…he was just alive and talking with me this morning…why…"
Vander slumped painfully down on his knees but he was so shocked at the scene that he didn't feel the bleeding scrapes behind his pant fabric. Vander bent over to pull the devastated sobbing Dia into his arms as he also let out silent suppressed cries while hiding his face on her shaking shoulder. Soon, the sounds of the ambulance were getting closer since a few people in the crowd and the person driving also called the emergency number. Multiple officers and the ambulance arrived and got out of the vehicles as the crowd moved out of the way for them to see the scene.
"Please move! Where is the heavily injured person?! Oh my lord…"
The moment they saw Leon in Zaydis's arms, they instantly knew Leon was gone. They stepped forward to do their tasks of retaining order to the public. A team came to clear the car parts and debris. The ambulance saw that Zaydis was stained with a lot of blood and tried to tell him to come with them to get checked. Zaydis had turned to just having tears rolling down his cheeks and dazely staring at Leon's face. He started mumbling under his breath.
"I couldn't save him again….again??...again…buttercup…my wife….I was too late to find you…no! I'll gather all his soul pieces!"
Zaydis's eyes turned dark like the endless void and the swirling energy particles started getting brighter and swirled faster. His eyes continued to turn a deep ruby red with a violent beastly gaze. His hair changed colors and grew longer to the length of his original height. And his ears elongated to pointed elven ears or more like devil ears. The End took over and paused this world's time. Kayden picked up Leon and saw his soul pieces floating up. He noticed the pieces were fading and being absorbed by another being.
"Where are Leon's soul pieces going? Wait! This feels like The Creator's energy. But Leon's soul pieces also feel identical to The Creator's Soul energy."
Kayden immediately connected the dots. The Creator was taking back Leon's Soul since Leon was a part of The Creator. But Leon was only a small part so the main consciousness is eating up the weaker subconscious. Kayden refused to lose his wife! He knew if Leon was eaten, Kayden would lose his wife forever.
'If I give Leon's soul enough of my energy to be strong enough to overpower the main soul, I won't lose him ever again.'
The End knows he has the same amount of energy and power as The Creator who has no intelligent awareness. Leon had gathered almost half of the main soul but they noticed and started pulling all the energy back to itself and being one again. Kayden used his powers and the shadows shifted chaotic. Black tiny chains of shadows rosed into the air and caught most of Leon's soul pieces. Then Kayden pulled the souls and moved into his shadow realm.
