"God damnit! Where's my teammates?!"
Leon just entered the next world and all his world hopping companions are transported all over the world. Kayden has an excuse but Yuvel should have arrived with Leon! And Ronan's temporary bond with Yuvel should have followed Yuvel and that means next to Leon as well!
"At least I have complete control over my skills and power now."
Leon finally focused on his surroundings. He was in a cell?! Leon tried to move but it felt unusual. He looked down at his hands and saw a fluffy paw.
"...WTF?!"
Leon had transfered into a fucking animal!
"Hey! You little beast! Stop barking so loud in the middle of the night!"
Leon just noticed the presence of the other person in the cell with him. Looking over, it was a buff gruffy old man. He was seated on the ground and leaning against the wall with shackles on his wrists.
'Woahh, this is my first time in this type of world. Hmm, let's see where the chains on me are since I'm also locked up here in this cell.'
Leon thought to himself since he knew there was someone around. He stood up on all fours and turned his head to look behind him. There was a chain connected to his left leg. Just like the shackles on the other man.
'Shit. Since he is there, I can't randomly break the chain on me and run off. The world's will would not allow me to be seen using my god skills.'
Leon was a cute, elegant and lean fluffy fox. He looked at the other male and saw that their eyes were closed. So he carefully crawled closer to him and looked at him more closely.
'Not hubby. Hmm. What should I do now?'
Leon went back to his corner on the other side and went to get some shut eye to pass time. The next morning, light shone through the tiny metal barred opening close to the ceiling. Leon had turned his body with his tummy facing up and was snoring away.
*step* *step* *clang*
'What the??'
Leon's snot bubble popped and he woke up with a startled action of flipping over and on his legs. The sound was a guard coming with a metal bowl. Then he unlocked the metal gate door and carelessly dropped the bowl in front of the old man in shackles. The old man was not amused and seemed used to the treatment. The guard ignored the old man and turned to approach Leon.
"Alright you dumb fox. Your owner called you back to play with them. Let's go."
The guard unhooked the chain off the wall and pulled Leon with him out of the cell. Leon stayed quiet and followed the guard to figure the setting and background of this world. He looked back at the old man one last time before leaving. The man was watching him the whole time. They made eye contact and Leon waved one of his front paws to say goodbye. The old man was stunned. He realized Leon was not an ordinary fox!
Leon blinked hard a few times to get used to the light difference. The sun was high in the sky as Leon continued to follow the guard holding his chain. There was nothing but trees and nature around. Leon assumed they were in a forest. After walking for 15 minutes, they reached a stone wall with a door. The guard opened the door and they went through long halls before reaching another door.
'...there's too many doors to go through! Ughhhh.'
Leon walked through multiple twists and turns until he reached a very high leveled tower. There was a wooden sign next to the door and Leon read the name.
'Magician's Tower…uhhh, very basic naming I guess…'
The guard holding Leon's chains paused before another guard.
"Where is the Great Magician?"
"Hey, he's in his research room right now. Just pass the dajin pet to me."
"Alright. Bye."
The guard passed over the leash and Leon quietly followed the other man into the tower. Passing through the doors, it seems that there was a transfer spell at the door and the person that scanned their pass on the crystal is able to think of the level they want to teleport and appear at. Leon closed his eyes from the bright dizzy spell. And blinked a few times before observing his surroundings. It was a mystical garden and it seemed to be a different realm within the wide space. Giant trees grew up to the sky and looked like they touched the clouds. Leon's head twisted multiple directions as he followed the guiding guard.
Leon looked forward when he noticed a giant gated community. They walked until they reached a very large tree. Leon instantly felt his inner soul Bloodline boiling. His instincts were telling him that this tree was the Tree of Origin. The tree's spirit was calling out to him. Leon focused his spiritual networks as a Creator God and listened to what the spirit was trying to tell him.
'My Lord, I am honored to be in your presence.'
'At ease my child, I am just passing by. Have you sensed any outer gods entering this realm?'
'This child has not. It seems my power is not large enough to sense the other mighty ones.'
'I see. I am restricted by the world's will so I am unable to unleash my full powers without causing harm to the world. I will stay here for a bit before traveling farther to search for my companions.'
'As you wish, Oh Ancient Sage'
Leon heard a crackle from a broken branch. He looked over and saw a beautiful elf. The mature elf looked down and made eye contact with Leon.
"A dajin pet?? Where is his owner?"
Leon just realized that the guard had just left him here and went who knows where. The stranger kneeled on one knee and reached out to Leon.
"Would you like to follow me? I'm a Xarthen person if you're wondering. Or if you don't want to come with me, i'll help you find a native of this world."
'Xarthen person??? Not a native of this world??'
Leon questioned in his head, from the unfamiliar terms. He tilted his head to show the Elf that he was confused.
"A newborn? No, that's not right. Dajin Creatures received inherited knowledge…But you can still understand me so you might be a new species of this world."
Leon learned the man's name, Faezen. Faezen taught him a bunch of knowledge about this land. Leon found out that this was a land called Ariquen. Where the natives are different from the Xarthen people. Xarthen people are souls that are not born here and their bodies suddenly appear one day. The natives hear the Xarthen people call themselves players. Leon concluded that a modern high technological world had learned to travel by soul travel, using the advanced knowledge of machinery and scientific mental state research. This is achieved by turning on a device that connects to the wrist like a band and as the physical body is sleeping, the soul travels to a "game" world and gets to live a second life.
