Cleo sat at a corner table in a well-known restaurant in the city. She played with her cell phone as she waited for Liam to arrive. The restaurant was quite crowded, but the atmosphere was calm and cozy. A moment later, Liam entered and went straight to Cleo's table.
"Cleo," Liam greeted her with a smile. "Have you been waiting long?"
"Oh no," Cleo replied with a faint smile. "I do have plenty of time for us to talk."
Liam sat down and ordered a drink before starting a serious conversation. "So, what did you want to talk about?"
Cleo looked at Liam seriously. "I plan to terminate Nasha's pregnancy."
Liam raised an eyebrow, surprised but also intrigued. "What do you mean?"
"We both know that the baby Nasha is carrying is Bastian's. If the baby is born, his position will be even stronger between us," Cleo explained. "I can't let that happen."
