To call it a crowd was actually an exaggeration. Ryan appeared first, his wheelchair rolling forward as he looked toward Daemon with a smile.
Following behind Ryan was Dinaia, her smile so bright that no one would believe that she was usually afraid of the birthday boy, or man. She looked at Daemon, looking forward to his surprise, pride for breaking Daemon's infamous indifference already starting to appear on her face.
But as she looked at the man, missing the knowing smile that appeared on Ryan's lips, she was disappointed, just as Evelyn was as she looked at the father of her son.
Only Jason was left dumbfounded by the spectacle, his mouth opening wide as he looked at his godparents:
"Uncle Ryan!! Aunt Dinaia!!"
