The night was calm with the moon and numerous long-standing red lamps illuminating dark areas of the place, one hanging above both of their heads shining on their bodies and allowing Hildebrant to better observe the girl and cape on her shoulder.
Jewel of Walldrifters was well know artifact, the main one Darius Main used and never put down.
It was a legacy left by him and the only one who could wear it after his disappearance was lord of blood demons.
"Kiria."
Before he said more sweet and cheeky voice entered his ear.
"I already thought you would not come to meet my little self, liberator."
She said and her clean voice echoed in his mind as he watched as she calmly leaned on the bench and began to move her feet up and down like a little child playing with her friend.
Her body was thin and, her proportion perfect, her face full of vitality and strength.
She had blood-red lips, black hair, a sharp chin, and was almost his size.
But Hildebrant could not help but think about his niece.
"I am no one liberator."
Kiria then chuckled.
"You are not? Hemri doesn't think so."
Saying that she stopped moving and then her fierce gaze turned to him, wanting to crush him to the dust.
"Did you think I would not know if someone entered without my knowledge if it was so easy Gabriel would already be watching everything, we did from beginning to end. But I must say you surprised me if not for you little friend it would have taken longer for me to find you."
She then wickedly smiled and with it she leaned closer and stared into his blue eyes with her own black, showing depts of madness swirling in her irises.
"He was so cooperative after finding out where you come from and so angry that I could not help but laugh."
Hildebrant stared back unmovingly watching as she retracted her face and body and then caressed the cape with her fingers. Under the moonlight, she looked like an ancient bloodsucking vampire from legend and stories that the Tengoku inhabitant brought to the Golden Empire.
"At first, he wanted to come instead of me and capture you alone, but I was afraid of him killing you, so I chose to come myself. I don't want goods to run away before delivering them safely. Icarus would be not pleased with it."
Hearing the name Hildebrant's face finally reacted but Kiria didn't mind she just observed her long crimson nails that were illuminated by moonlight and red light coming from the lamps and then turned back to him.
"Did you know in my time here I never saw Icarus so desperate? Never once did he ask for help, never once did he care if we died or survived, and never once did he show any consideration for other living beings. A true monster of you ask me but then one imagines that monster that you thought was like a force of nature a living transcendent viscount who could slaughter us all if not for rules came to my own house when I was in my bed and told me if I capture one person for me he would listen to my request."
Her smile widened even more, showing crazed desire and joy she felt to the point her eyes began to tear and her body began to tremble.
"Can you imagine my surprise? Such being came just so it would get you, aren't you honored?"
Hildebrant face didn't change but after a while, he opened his mouth.
"Is that why that cape is on you and not on you brother?"
Kiria then froze and her smile turned back to its original shape, hiding all the joy and ecstasy she had just shown to him not a second ago.
"Asking such questions could be dangerous, didn't your mother teach you that?"
As she said that she didn't let him say anything more and Hildebrant body stopped while his blood began to boil. It was not just a matter of words; his blood truly began to boil in his veins turning from still flow to the turbling river devouring his insides and making him want to scream but due to the control Kiria had he was unable to even open his mouth.
Weakness penetrated his body, but it was not long before his flames began to combat the invisible authority that took control of his flesh and blood.
"Don't worry It will be painless if you surrender to it."
She chuckled and then leaned on the bench next to him.
"You should learn what to ask and what not."
Her voice was sweet filled with the smell of blood and honey that came out of her mouth.
She was truly beautiful but Hildebrant in his old clothes just shifted his eyeballs her way and before she knew crazed smile found its way on his lips and with that smile white flames consumed both of their bodies.
