The entire ship tilted to the side the moment the water hit the ship but a man with a missing hand was unbothered by it and rushed to Hildebrant and then stopped and twisted his body revealing the harpoon he hid behind himself.
Muscles on man's remaining hand bulged and then he threw it on him with such speed that even before Hildebrant could react harpoon had already penetrated his ankle and pinned him to a wooden deck.
Grinding his teeth he wanted to take it out, but the man did not let him even touch it before he appeared before him and with a smile on his face used his remaining hand to punch him.
Using a battle style, he learned in school, Golden Marshal, he deflected the blow and then counterattacked with his, but even in such a situation man unnaturally twisted his body to avoid the fist that he instinctively filled with flames and attacked with his elbow.
Even with one hand missing, the man was nimble and fast and moved without care of dislocating his joints or tearing his or fear of breaking his bones. It was as if he didn't feel any pain or didn't care about it.
What was worse was that sometimes his body would move differently than he wanted, making mistakes that allowed his adversary to strike his belly, elbow, and the leg that was pinned to the floor without any chance of dodging.
Because of that his pinned leg became purple and his body gained new bruised and blue marks but what made his blood boil in anger and fear was man who lost most of his body parts still stood tall without any change in his expression.
His two abyss-like eyes never changed, not even when rain soaked all their clothes and flowed into man's open wound and burned flesh.
With a frustrated growl, Hildebrandt watched as flames that escaped his skin and lit some part of man's mangled body began to be extinguished but even then, he did not stop resisting the onslaught man unleashed on him.
His hand went through man's chest without hesitation letting all of his pent-up fear but instead of falling man just kicked his belly and sent him flying to the steering wheel finally tearing the harpoon out of his leg and exposing his bones.
Listening to the divine song Hildebrant gritted his teeth as he tried to stand up with his mangled leg and get up with the help of his two unrecognizable hands but as his exposed flesh touched the steering wheel his eyes involuntarily gazed at the slowly walking man.
Most of the man's body was gone, giant pools of blood came out of his exposed wounds, and big chunks of flesh floated on the wet floor of the ship into the endless sea. There was also a hole in the size of the hand in his chest and his face was half blue but even with all of this man moved as if nothing was wrong.
His smile even wildened when he observed him.
Sensing all the pain coursing through his body and rain falling on his battered figure Hildebrant took a deep breath and then he violently twisted the steering wheel with all his might on the side.
The ship was titled, forcing the man to lose balance and fall.
Hildebrant also lost all semblance of control in his body and with legs slipping on water filled floor only thing holding him still in place was his hands that grasped the steering wheel tightly while he observed with glee as the man slowly hit the edge of the ship and torrent of water began to push him down into endless sea.
Roaring, the man grasped the edge with his remaining hand and endured the torrent of water with closed eyes until the ship finally stabilized and the man's eyes shot open and gazed at Hildebrant who slowly straightened his back.
Then with a smile man pushed himself up and dashed to him and in no time, they exchanged some blows until a man came even closer, and without time to drag his mangled leg to the back, the man bit Hildebrant neck and embraced him with his remaining hand.
Sensing rows of sharp teeth burrowing into his flesh Hildebrant let yelp of surprise and then using all the experiences he gained in practice he began to punch the man's side with ferocity, and he continued even when they both began to roll on the floor.
Blood poured out of man's mouth but Hildebrant under the influence of song began to slow down his assault and even his hand that burrowed into man's flesh to hold him tight began to lose its flames and strength.
Tiredness spread through him but unwilling to go and die he poured even more flames into both of his hands making his flesh tear and his bones crack.
Under rain, lighting, and raging wind they rolled on the wet floor leaving trials of blood wherever they went until iron light passed through the man's neck.
The moment the steel blade passed his flesh, the man froze and then trembled as if he were fighting against something until his black eyes turned white and his towering body fell on him after losing all of his strength.
Hildebrant then looked at the person who held the blade, the small pale girl who looked like a drenched doll, and with a confused expression, he grasped the man's head and tore it with some of his flesh out of his body.
Even after death, the man took some of his flesh but after pushing it aside and somehow standing out he had no energy to question the girl who gazed at him and then turned her head to the side burrowing it into the teddy bear she held in her other hand.
He wanted to fall and rest but then roar after roar entered his ear and as he turned his head to the side, he observed a sea of smiling people rushing to them and raising their hands, waving at them, and running on all their four while letting out inhuman sounds.
The entire deck began to shake and tremble and Hildebrant and the girl had no choice but to begin to take a step back as even the floor under their feet began to crumble exposing hundreds of hands that wanted to drag them down.
It did not take long for them to reach the bow of the ship where they watched black-eyed people approach and laugh as they jumped above the supplies, ropes, and broken wooden parts that stood in their way.
Gazing behind himself on the dark surface of the sea Hildebrant gulped any salvia left in his mouth and then grabbed the girl who furrowed her brows and began opening her mouth, by the hand and jumped down.
Ancient cold then enveloped his body.
