Learning is also very important
Going to the drum island took me around a month. Usually, it shouldn't take this long. But after the system left me, getting right direction with my poor navigational skills has became very hard. So even though I was travelling inside my shadow world where I didn't have to worry about storms and other natural calamities of the grandline, due to my poor navigational skills, finding the right direction where the log poses are the only way to find right direction, was difficult.
Not to mention I took some detour in order to refill my stocks. On top of that I also raided a few pirate crews that I encountered collecting 40 millions berries on my way. So that also took some time.
For the next year, my plan was simple. I intended to learn medical scince from Kureha. But that's not the only thing I needed. I also need to learn about navigation. Especially if I want to travel all around the world then I need exceptional navigational skills. So studying that was my second priority . As far as I know, the weatheriya, an island established by skypians curious about different types of weather pattern, has not formed yet. That would have been the best place for me to learn about navigation and weather. So my only option was to collect different books and study. It is a shame that I lost the log book of Jack D Sparrow. That book was very informative from the little part I have read.
So I decided revisit Ohara, before it's destruction to reclaim it's other copy. But for now, learning these two skills are my priority for this year.
Kureha demanded a hundread millions berries as the fee of teaching me. I wasn't expecting that. On top of that, she wanted another twelve millions for letting a 'criminal' like me stay in her house. I didn't know since when, Kureha has been infected with the 'Nami' disease. But fortunately I managed to negotiate with her and she agreed at half of the price. I had to pay on of the 40 millions berries I had looted from the pirates. After that, I still have 22 millions berries left to pay Kureha.
With that much amount of debt, I think I have to visit the sky Island in order to get enough gold to pay her. But that's the problem for another time.
Since I couldn't show myself in public, I stayed in her house for most of the time. And whenever I needed some air, I used to go outside using my full zoan form of a cat.
Kureha wasn't as knowledgeable as in the canon. But I expected that. During the canon she was 139 years old. She has lived a long life to earn that much knowledge about various medicines and drugs. Even though, Law has been considered as the best surgeon in the entire world, when it comes to medicines and drugs no one could match Kureha. But the current Kureha, hasn't reached that stage yet. As a result, I wasn't able to make the drugs for multiple zoan transformations. But I was kind of expecting it. Even though my main goal was the drugs from the start, learning about different medicines and gaining medical knowledge was not a loss. Kureha had already gotten her licence as a medicine specialist from the doctor's association of drum Island. And after 9 months of studying, I also managed to clear up the test in the alias of Sureha and got a licence of a doctor. This new licence will help me create the identification for a new identity Sureha. And I have made big plans for this new identity of mine. During my time of studying medical science, the drum island was attacked by a group of pirates. Obviously instead of looting they got looted themselves. Ofcourse, I didn't give Kureha the entire looted amount. I paid her only 5 millions berries cash. I kept the remaining meager amount of gold for myself.
At the end when I left the drum Island I have a debt of seventeen millions berries on Kureha. Money didn't matter for me so, I didn't care. After leaving the drum Island, I went to two more Islands before reaching Arabasta. In my 1 months stay of Arabasta, I bought many different books regarding the weather and navigation in the grand line. And started learning them. With my strength bounty hunting would have been easier. But I decided to use my new identity as doctor Sureha to earn my living during my stay in the desert country.
Compared to what I have seen in the canon one piece, the Arabasta in the current time is actually very wealthy. It is actually the wealthiest country in the entire paradise. The Thailand was completely self sufficient despite the meager amount of the rain under the rule of Queen Nefetari Niny. From the locals, I learnt that, the current queen Niny actually succeeded the throne at the young age of 14, when the late king passed away in an accident, during his return from the Revery. But the young ruler actually managed the Kingdom better than the previous king. Under her rule the Kingdom went through significant changes. The quality of life of the citizens improved under her rule.
I wanted to wait for the great war despite of being free from the fate of the world. There are several reason for that. But that is a matter of another time. For now at the end of my stay I decided to see the current queen once before leaving the kingdom.
The Nefetari family have a lot more significant place in the great war than it seems. So I wanted to confirm one thing before I leave.
It was not impossible to meet the queen as she interact with her subjects directly once in every month. When I saw her, I was stunned, she was the like Vivy and Lily. Same long blue hair. Same eyes. Well I was not sure since the real life persons are not comparable to anime characters. But I will be able to confirm it if I got the picture of Nefetari Lily from Imu's personal chamber. But that can wait for now.
With that one final thing done, I left the kingdom of Arabasta.
The second year of my training period mostly went in studying.
But it was worth it. For my future plans, my efforts won't to go into waste.
