"So, how is it?"

"How is what? Besides, why would such an important letter be left behind in that mansion for years?"

"Please, help me retrieve that will..."

"No, it's your own fault, whatever you do, you have to deal with it yourself."

"I'm scared..."

"Fine, fine... I'll accompany you."

*One hour later, in front of the large abandoned mansion.

"Wow, this place is almost turning into a forest. Do you remember the entrance?"

"If I'm not mistaken, it's around here." I said while carrying a machete.

Cecilia cut through the bushes, and the entrance to the mansion became visible, but why is the entrance on the ground?

"Are you sure this is the entrance?"

I threw the flashlight towards her. "This is the emergency entrance, the main entrance is somehow covered by Gyimpie Gyimpie."

Cecilia entered, inside was filled with puddles of water. And sometimes green smoke could be seen. Inside, it smelled, the smell was very pungent.

"Good thing I brought a mask."

"Do you have any extras?" Cecilia asked.

"Yes, luckily I brought plenty." I said, handing a mask to Cecilia.

"Thank you." She said as she stepped forward, shining her flashlight.

We walked through the dark room, sometimes hearing footsteps and splashing water. Sometimes there was something crawling on the walls.

"Shh, someone's running." Cecilia said, stopping her steps followed by mine.

"Turn off the lights."

The two of us turned off our lights. Then a few seconds after the lights were turned off, groans were heard.

"Should we go back?" Cecilia suggested.

"Yeah, it seems like a wrong decision to come back to this place."

We turned back to the entrance we came from. If only it were that easy, maybe we wouldn't be... here.

"The door's locked."

"Darn..."

"Continue exploring?"

I could only nod.

The two of us ventured deeper into the mansion, and found the stairs to the main room. We climbed those stairs, and the sound of the steps we took sounded very loud.

We arrived in the main room.

"So where's the letter?" Cecilia asked.

"According to my grandfather's words, it should be on the 3rd floor, in his former office."

"Do we have to go up again? And why do we have to look for that letter? How important is it?" Cecilia asked with frustration in her tone.

"It's my grandfather's only legacy."

Cecilia sighed, adjusting her emotions. "Fine..."

The two of us climbed the stairs again. But every step we took creaked as if screaming in pain. We chose to ignore the sound.

Then when we reached the 2nd floor, Cecilia and I stopped our steps. A large shadow carrying a hammer was passing by in front of us.

"Hold your breath, don't scream or move.." Cecilia whispered.

I followed her instructions.

Then a few moments later, the shadow disappeared. We breathed a sigh of relief and continued our steps.

We had reached the hallway. The hallway had mirrors on the right and left.

I held Cecilia's hand.

"Together..." I whispered to Cecilia.

Our steps were slow, passing through the hallway. Then suddenly the mirror behind us broke. And when we looked back, we saw an old doll holding a key.

The key gleamed dimly in the hands of the old doll.

"That's a trap." Cecilia said, holding me back from taking the key.

The old doll, knowing Cecilia's intention, changed its facial expression into something terrifying.

Cecilia pulled my hand and we both started running.

"Damn doll."

We ran towards the stairs to the 3rd floor.

We kept running as hard as we could, until we stepped on a trap that immediately activated and shot an arrow right into Cecilia's heart.

"C-Cecil...???" I said, immediately hugging Cecilia and bowing my head.

Cecilia's eyes instantly lost their life, her heart began to stop functioning, she had died quickly. May she rest in peace and her death not be painful.

"Sorry... Sorry... Sorry for my selfishness..." I held back my tears.

I wanted to give up.

But if I give up, all of this will be in vain.

I released my hug, carrying Cecilia while walking slowly and climbing the stairs that somehow got closer.

I climbed the stairs without any suspicion at all.

I carried Cecilia in my arms, hoping her soul wouldn't be trapped in this old mansion.

I arrived on the 3rd floor, a room with a large door lay ahead. I approached carefully, wary of any traps that might be underneath.

The Big Door.

The door was filled with unique patterns and paintings. I pushed the door, and the light that entered illuminated my grandfather's desk.

I stepped forward, approaching and searching for the letter.

I found the letter. I opened it and read it on my grandfather's desk.

"To whoever finds this letter, please inform the people or the government to destroy this mansion immediately. If the monsters in this mansion come out, human lives will be disturbed, so please convey my message."

I read the letter, suddenly feeling an overwhelming drowsiness.

I fell asleep. Forever.
