Yone decided to go to his room after observing his surroundings.
He went to the stairs and going floor by floor, he reached the third one, seemingly the emptiest floor since no noise could be heard from any room.
'I should have asked for the exact price of whatever I bought,' He couldn't help but think as he felt that three spiritual stones could get him anything in this hotel without limit.
'Well, since a kid my age gave him that amount, he won't dare to rip me off,' Yone was confident about that that's why he didn't ask the price to begin with, he just felt that he should have done so for more knowledge about the value of one spiritual stone.
Upon getting inside and seeing the interior of the room, his smile widened as he went to sit cross-legged on top of the bed.
The room was lit with a white Qi bulb, though it was incredibly low in brightness, Yone didn't care since he only wanted to check his belongings before leaving the place.
Then, a wild idea crossed his mind. 'What if I use the remnant spirit as a guide?' He contemplated the notion. Though the system would ultimately need to absorb the spirit for him to claim his rewards, perhaps he could utilize it in the meantime.
'System, can I keep the remnant spirit for now and get my rewards after I'm done using it?' Yone inquired immediately, eager to know if his plan was feasible.
[The host may choose to do so; however, while the current mission remains incomplete, no additional missions will be provided.]
Yone understood that what the system said made sense; otherwise, the benefits he would receive would be too overwhelming, allowing him to exploit the system by completing multiple missions simultaneously.
There is indeed a balance to how the system operates, ensuring that it doesn't randomly grant me power out of nowhere.
Yone sighed in disappointment upon hearing the system's response, but he understood the implications of possessing such a powerful tool. While he accepted it, the situation left a bitter taste in his mouth.
'Well doesn't matter, Let's have a quick conversation with this soul and then devour it,' As he thought of that, the system lifted the seal on the ring enabling the spirit to head out.
Despite waiting for several minutes, the remnant soul remained hidden within the ring, choosing to stay silent and conceal its presence.
"Senior, are you not going to show yourself? Od do you want to tide through this using pity tricks? An esteemed expert doing something like that won't look good."
As Yone said that, his gaze locked into the ring, faintly smiling.
How could he be rude to an expert as strong as the one inside of the ring, even though the system suppressed its power, if he wanted to get any information out of it, he needed to act accordingly, or else the expert inside would just refuse to speak.
Yone had no way of forcing anyone to speak for the time being!
"Is there a need for young master to embarrass me like this?"
A faint sigh sounded from Yone's ring at this time. Although the voice sounded pleasant, one could hear a sense of helplessness lacing her words.
As the words fell, a burst of red flashed in front of Yone, and a figure dressed in red appeared out of thin air.
"Oh! So this is what the esteemed Holy Realm expert looked like."
Yone's expression remained unchanged, though inwardly, he couldn't help but chuckle. The beautiful woman's face revealed a hint of defeat, and a trace of fear flickered in her eyes.
Those scarlet pupils and that alluring face…the Heavens sure blessed everyone who played the hero with a good life and nice company.
Yone somehow recalled those hero-wannabe old monsters from his past world and their nice lives compared to his. Each time that vision crossed his mind, he felt disgusted.
He instantly pushed it to the back of his mind and focused on the beautiful woman in front of him.
Thankfully, the Holy Realm expert thought Yone was a young master of a powerful clan, which is why he could seal her power, hence her fearful and anxious reaction.
"I'm Aurora, I wonder what can I do for young master Yone?"
Aurora asked with a soft voice laced with a cold tone. She didn't want to show up, but she had no choice. Since Yone could figure out her existence and seal her power, then he would naturally also have some means to force her out.
Instead of letting the other party force her out, it would be better if she took the initiative and showed herself.
"It's nothing much, I just want to know who Senior is and whether you can answer a question of mine."
Yone replied truthfully.
He didn't like beating around the bush when he had already secured the system's benefits, hence speaking honestly and being nice was already more than anyone could ask for.
Aurora was vigilant about his words and even after racking her mind for a few seconds about what kind of worth she had for someone who could suppress her, she still couldn't figure out Yone's true intentions, so she could only raise her guard.
'He must be lying and planning to do something with my source,' She thought, raising her guard against the kid tenfold.
"As you can see, I'm nothing more than a remnant spirit, not an expert as you say. As for your question, go ahead and ask, if I have knowledge of it I'll answer."
Aurora's frosty voice sounded again.
Yone showed a warm smile as he thanked her, and then asked his question.
"Will Senior tell me what lies inside Snow Lake tournament grounds and why no one ever survived? Intact at least."
Aurora was stunned hearing his question.
It was taboo for any candidate or participant to know anything about what lies inside Snow Lake. It was even more taboo for any expert of her strength and knowledge to speak about it to any junior even if his talent was never seen in the past thousands of years.
That was how severe the subject was!
