Chapter 146 - The First Stage Road To Overlord

vomit...

Kahn's fists are incredibly powerful.

The unique strength and defensive abilities of the Natural Destroyer rank among the top in the world.

Kaido had to become a Mythical Zoan user, harnessing the strongest traits of the Mythical Zoan to push his physical fitness to its absolute limits so he could compare with the physical prowess of the Unborn Destroyer.

Now, with the speed and strength of the Natural Destroyer enhanced even further, Kaido feels pain even if Kahn's fists aren't infused with Haki.

In this case, Kahn's punches were infused with the advanced use of Armament Haki.

A shockwave, different from the Hero's Spear, erupted behind Kaido.

Pierced by the shockwave, Kaido snapped out of his drunken state, grimacing in pain as he spat out blood.

"THUNDER BAGUA!!"

Enduring the rare pain, Kaido leapt into the air once more, wrapping Conqueror's Haki and lightning around his Hassaikai and bringing it down hard toward Kahn.

*Boom!*

Faced with Kaido's blow from another dimension, Kahn didn't choose to block or dodge but instead assumed a stance, gathering power and punching on the spot.

Then, a transparent blue shield in the shape of a hemisphere, surrounded by dark red lightning, appeared over Kahn's head, effortlessly blocking Kaido's strike. Whether it was a New World monster or Emperor-level subordinates like King or Charlotte Katakuri, they would be instantly defeated by such a move.

Had Kahn not been born with Observation Haki to read minds or used telekinesis to defend himself earlier, he might have been beaten mercilessly by Kaido.

However, the telekinetic defence does have its limits.

This Psychic Shield was a manifestation of Kahn's physical strength.

No matter how much stamina Kahn consumed, the shield's defence remained solid.

If Kahn's physical strength and the Psychic Shield's defence were converted into numbers:

If Kahn uses 50 stamina to form the Psychic Shield, it has a defence power of 50, meaning it can block 50 damage.

If an attack's damage exceeds 50, the shield will shatter.

So, without knowing the damage of Kaido's ultimate move, using the Psychic Shield could be as foolish as the CP agents using Iron Body against a much stronger foe.

After an hour of warming up, Kahn had gathered basic data on Kaido's human-beast form and his use of Conqueror's infusion.

Thus, even against Kaido's extra-dimensional strikes, Kahn remained confident in his Psychic Shield.

Though it wasn't the most efficient use of stamina to block Kaido's otherworldly attacks, compared to using the Natural Destroyer's body and Haki for defence, Kahn chose to rely on the shield.

And indeed, his Psychic Shield successfully blocked Kaido's otherworldly move.

Through the invisible force formed by the clash of Conqueror's infusion and telekinetic collision, Kahn unleashed his full power, both in his normal form and "Magic Warrior Mode," delivering a devastating blow to the wide-eyed Kaido.

"Hero's Gun, Boom!"

With a single punch from Kahn, the entire Onigashima quaked violently.

A shockwave rippled outward, creating an air blast that swept in all directions, finally collapsing the already ravaged roof of Onigashima.

Then, a massive, transparent white beam of light—far surpassing the power of Kaido's dragon breath—shot into the sky from the centre of the skull dome.

This colossal beam of light was visible even from the lands of Wano.

Like the soaring current seen on Jaya Island, the beam pierced through the dark, cloud-filled sky, shaking both the atmosphere and the ominous storm clouds, which repeatedly vanished and reappeared.

It resembled the legendary clash between Whitebeard and Roger's Conqueror's infusion.

The dark clouds in the sky were obliterated by shockwaves stretching for kilometres as if wiped away by an invisible hand.

With the clouds cleared, the hidden moon and stars reappeared in the night sky.

"Haha..."

Amid the collapsed ruins of Onigashima, Kahn shrouded in telekinetic energy, flew out of the wreckage, floating beneath the now-clear night sky. Sweating and panting, he gazed upward as though sensing something.

A slight grin appeared on Kahn's face: "Looks like I won!"

The combo Kahn had just executed was his strongest shield and spear in "Magic Warrior Mode."

The strongest shield nullified all enemy attacks, and the fully charged spear defeated everything.

However, using both the shield and spear consumed an immense amount of Kahn's energy.

An hour of combat paled in comparison to the toll of this devastating combination.

When the Natural Destroyer unleashes the most powerful techniques of the Elbaf giants at full strength, the resulting force is nothing short of incredible.

The shockwave that pierced through the sky was proof enough…

Kahn's punch not only changed the weather but cleared the clouded night sky.

Had it struck downward, the entirety of Onigashima would have been torn apart.

At the same time, Kahn's punch also paid tribute to the original Sun God.

In the original story, Nika, the Sun God, drove Kaido into the magma chamber beneath Wano.

In contrast, Kahn's punch sent Kaido flying from the ground into the White-White Sea, over 10,000 meters above.

However, neither the original Sun God Nika nor Kahn's punch could kill Kaido.

When comparing the two, it's clear Kahn's punch was superior.

Kahn not only overpowered Kaido but withheld his full arsenal, defeating him with just one defence and one attack, knocking him unconscious.

After taking a few deep breaths, the blue telekinetic energy surrounding Kahn began to glow even brighter.

Moments later, a massive black figure floated down from the sky.

It was Kaido, unconscious.

Hit head-on by the shockwave that pierced the heavens without any defence, Kaido would have died if not for his tenacious vitality.

There's a famous rumour from the original "Fist of the King" that claims the Four Emperors would die instantly if struck by it.

Kahn wasn't sure whether the Four Emperors could survive a punch from the King's Fist.

But Kahn knew that if Shanks, the only "normal" Emperor, or Blackbeard—who suffers double the pain—were hit by his Hero's Gun, they wouldn't stand a chance.

Although Kaido survived, he sustained far more severe internal injuries than Charlotte Linlin did when she was struck by the Hero's Gun, which ignores external defences.

It would take far longer for him to recover compared to the original story.

With Kaido's defeat, Kahn's long-planned battle for supremacy had come to fruition, and he had triumphed over the Cross Family.

When news of this spreads, it will undoubtedly shake the entire world.

With this, Kahn has successfully brought Dressrosa, Amazon Lily, and Wano—all the territories he had set his sights on—under his control.

The Cross Family, which now governs these three nations, will rise from a dominant force in West Blue to one of the ruling powers of the New World.

The first stage of the Cross Family's "Road to Overlord" has been successfully completed!
