There they stood, three ladies. Arielle with tears in her eyes, Iliana with a cold expression, and Ashley with a frown and disappointed gaze.
Iliana was the one who spoke.
Seeing them, Gerald frowned and then started panicking about how much they had heard as he was sure that Arielle might tell her sister about everything.
"What are you girls doing here? Aren't you supposed to be out for shopping?" he asked as he pretended to be calm.
None of them answered him as Arielle rushed towards Liam, he caught her on time and embraced her before she started crying.
"Liam, how is Aurora?" she asked tears in her eyes causing Liam to feel heartbroken.
"Why are you crying? Don't you know how ugly you look when you cry, mmh?" he asked as he forced a smile while wiping the tears that were rolling down her cheeks.
