As Yohan stepped out of the swirling gate and onto the valley floor, a shadow passed overhead. It was Selene, his contracted raven, her sleek, shadowy wings slicing through the air as she soared upward. Her powerful strokes carried her higher and higher, her dark form blending into the strange, murky sky.
Yohan closed his eyes briefly, activating his Link Talent, one of its perk allowed him to merge his senses with his contracted beast. In an instant, his perception shifted, and he was seeing the world through Selene's sharp, birdlike eyes.
