The morning sun had barely risen when Yohan stepped out of his house, feeling the chill in the air. Just as he locked the door, he spotted LJ leaning against a sleek, gleaming supercar parked outside. It was one of those ultra-stylish rides he'd only seen in luxury magazines.
"Are you going to give me a ride?" Yohan asked, eyeing the car with a raised eyebrow.
"Yup, get in," LJ replied with a smirk, nodding towards the passenger seat.
Yohan settled in, the plush seats hugging him as the engine hummed to life. They sped out of the inner city, leaving behind the well-ordered streets and towering buildings. Eventually, LJ parked the car near the mercenary guild's lot, a place Yohan hadn't expected to stop by.
"Why are we at the guild?" Yohan asked, watching LJ unbuckle and step out.
"You'll know soon. Let's go," LJ replied mysteriously, gesturing for Yohan to follow.
