Clearwater City
The heavy silence in the hallway shattered as Cruz stormed down, his footsteps echoing with each hard step. Reaching the door to General Alexander's office, he pushed it open with enough force to make the door rattle against the wall.
"How dare you do this!" Cruz's voice boomed as he entered, his eyes blazing with fury.
General Alexander, seated behind his desk, looked up with calm but alert eyes, watching the fuming Cruz as a few soldiers hurried in behind him.
"Sir, we couldn't stop him," one of them said apologetically.
Alexander waved them off, signaling them to leave the room. Once the soldiers had retreated, he focused on Cruz, his face still a mask of calm, though a slight frown creased his forehead.
"What exactly do you think you're doing, Cruz?" Alexander asked, his voice low but firm.
"Get that notice down!" Cruz demanded, the anger still burning in his tone.
