Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: A New Connection

After the networking event, Daniel couldn't stop thinking about his conversation with Elon Musk. He felt inspired and motivated to pursue his own entrepreneurial dreams.

As he walked back to his dorm room, he noticed a text from Sharon: "Hey, how was the event? Meet anyone interesting?"

Daniel smiled, thinking about his encounter with Elon Musk. "Actually, I met Elon Musk! He's really down-to-earth and inspiring."

Sharon replied: "Wow, that's amazing! I'm so jealous. What did you talk about?"

Daniel filled her in on their conversation, and Sharon was impressed. "You're really making connections, Daniel! I'm proud of you."

As they continued texting, Daniel realized that he was developing feelings for Sharon beyond friendship. He hesitated, unsure if he should confess his feelings.

Meanwhile, Kelly walked into the room, grinning mischievously. "Dude, I saw you talking to Elon Musk! What's the scoop?"

Daniel filled him in on their conversation, and Kelly was impressed. "You're really moving up in the world, Daniel! Maybe one day you'll be the one giving the keynote speech."

As they joked around, Daniel's phone buzzed with another text from Sharon. "Hey, want to grab coffee and study together this weekend?"

Daniel's heart skipped a beat. Was this his chance to confess his feelings? He hesitated, then typed out a response. "Sure, I'd love to!"

(Sharon's POV)

As I texted Daniel about the networking event, I couldn't help but feel a little jealous. I had wanted to attend, but my schedule conflicted. I was happy for Daniel, though - he deserved the opportunity to meet inspiring people like Elon Musk.

When Daniel shared his conversation with Elon, I was impressed. He was really making connections and learning from them. I felt proud of him, like a friend should.

But as we continued texting, I realized my feelings went beyond friendship. I had noticed Daniel's kind heart and sense of humor before, but now I saw him in a new light. He was ambitious, driven, and genuinely interested in making a difference.

I hesitated, unsure if I should confess my feelings. What if he didn't feel the same way? Our friendship was important to me, and I didn't want to risk losing it.

As I debated, Daniel agreed to meet up for coffee and studying. My heart skipped a beat. Maybe this was the chance to see if there was something more between us.
