Sharon arrived at the coffee shop early, her heart racing with anticipation. She had decided to take a chance and confess her feelings to Daniel, but she was nervous about his response.
Daniel walked in, smiling, and joined her at the table. "Hey, thanks for meeting up! I really need to study for this exam."
Sharon laughed. "Of course, that's why I'm here too... or so I told myself."
They chatted and studied for a while, but Sharon couldn't focus. She kept glancing at Daniel, wondering how to bring up the subject.
Finally, she took a deep breath and spoke up. "Daniel, can I talk to you about something?"
"Sure, what's up?" he replied, looking concerned.
Sharon's heart skipped a beat. "I just wanted to say... I really enjoy spending time with you. And I was wondering if maybe... there's something more between us?"
Daniel's expression changed from surprise to a warm smile. "Sharon, I've been feeling the same way! I didn't know how to tell you."
Sharon's heart soared. "Really?"
Daniel nodded. "Yeah, really. I think we make a great team, both in business and... maybe in life too."
They shared a sweet moment, their eyes locking in a way that left no doubt about their feelings.
