CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-ONE
ROXANNE'S POV.
I brought my hands down in fear and shook my head to find out if anything was hanging loose on it. But shaking it brought a headache to me so I avoided doing that.
"You can come with me," he said but I was stupidly confused as to why my hands had not found my ears at the side of my head I paid him no heed.
I took my hands back to the sides of my head and heaved a sigh of relief when I felt a curvy cartilaginous flesh. The flappy things were still glued to their position.
When I had calmed myself and was intellectually aware of myself I looked around. It took me two seconds to realize that I had not replied to the guy's offer and another two more to realize that I was alone.
He had probably left, hoping that I would follow. I shrugged it off as not being my fault and climbed further. I might still be lucky to find his trail and know his apartment.
