CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY-FOUR
ROXANNE'S POV
I felt strong hands wrap around my waist as I struggled to shield my face from the masses whose teeth were flashing dangerously rather than friendly.
The hands held strongly to me, reassuring me that I was not alone and would never be.
I truly needed the assurance, for I had almost forgotten that I had arrived with him and that he had sworn to protect me.
"Get out!!!" Edward commanded in a roar, startling even me who was standing beside him into epileptic fear.
His booming masculine voice was put on display, and before a single eye blink was completed, cardboards, flexes and paper cards dropped traumatically on the floor, as the holders tried to find a place to hide their faces.
Some rushed to the elevator, trying to ignore the elevator's maximum and pushing themselves in. They soon gave up and turned to use the staircase.
