CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY
EDWARD'S POV
Two hours had solidly flown by, and there was still no sign of Roxanne. What was she still doing with Tarella? I pondered restlessly.
I knew very well, that periods like this when I had chosen her as my fiancee, were injury times that needed her to tread with caution. I wasn't sure I could survive another tragedy happening to her.
I tried her line, but it wasn't going through. "What's going on" I groaned "Why wasn't she done with the conversation she was having with Tarella yet? Was she alright?" Weird thoughts crept into my mind. Thoughts of kidnap, attempted murder and rape.
The chilly thought crept into my spine, forcing a tremor through me.
I decided to walk out and check for myself if she was doing alright and if she needed my help in any way. I couldn't sit still and leave her to the savages in the world.
