CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND NINETEEN
AUTHOR'S POV
Panic seized her throat harder than ever, trying to expand its structure and at once drying the slimy saliva that were pasted there. She had not been this afraid in a very long time.
The fear she felt was similar to that of her childhood, whenever she was about to undergo sexual trauma. It was a type of fear that blocked the nose from receiving oxygen and fastened one's heartbeat one hundred times over.
It was a fear that could easily be seen in one's eyes, written boldly in black letters and effectively circling round the pupil till the fear-stricken fellow began to feel dizzy.
If only she had stayed longer with Mary, she would have avoided the ambush. But then, the man could have been waiting for a long while for her to exit, before he made a move.
"Who are you? Where are you taking me? What do you want from me" She shouted till her voice became croaky.
