EDWARD'S POV
"Dad! You really know nothing about Dera, do you? Dera humble and respectful?" I shot out a sharp air through my nose, staring at him in amazement "Even Selena, her friend cannot praise her the way you've just done" I eyed my father subtly, didn't want him to view my scrutiny as an insult, even though my current state of mind was forcing me to make him notice my insultive eyeing. At least that would gladden my heart a bit.
"Have you forgotten that I'm a better judge of character than you are? Take a look at your late mom, wasn't she a perfect wife and mother? Wasn't she your best friend ever?" He twisted the fact to favor himself, trying to win me over with emotional talk.
