CHAPTER NINETY-NINE
EDWARD'S POV
"Get married?" She asked leaving her mouth agape.
"Yes. I've thought about everything and that seems to be the only way out, plus we love each other" My heart raced as I added the last four words. Did we truly love each other? I was sure of my end but unsure of Roxanne's.
"Are you being serious right now?" She asked still sitting very elegantly on the bed, forgetting entirely about the spaghetti and beef meatballs I had prepared specially for her.
"Absolutely" I replied, feeling more sure than ever. "I'm going to protect you forever" My heart nodded in unison with my head as I voiced the covenant promise.
"But your father.."
