CHAPTER NINETY-EIGHT
AUTHOR'S POV
The tears flowed freely, staining the white pillow that she had always taken care to keep clean. Her body, soul and spirit were hurt to the core; hurt by the mistake she had made when her dignity had been on holiday. She curled up like a tired millipede, trying her best to console herself. But it didn't work. It didn't work because painful scenarios kept causing stings in places she never knew existed in her fragile heart, causing a break in the transmission of blood to her feet which suddenly reacted by getting numb. Changing her position, she continued in tears, desperate to drain the tankful in her heavy heart.
