CHAPTER EIGHTY-FIVE
AUTHOR'S POV
The young Detective abandoned Dera, leaning on a chair, and walked cautiously to the door, as if he was expecting to see someone with a gun behind the door. He was very suspicious of Raymond and was ready to turn the room upside down to find an incriminating object against him.
Raymond on the quiet side of the room, maintained a calm demeanor, careful not to betray too much or too little emotion. But beneath the calm composure, his heart lay tiredly in his hands circulating fear around his body system. He was almost sure that he was going to be arrested and his license revoked.
"There's no.." he began and was cut short by the older detective who had begun to see just the same thing as his younger colleague.
"Leave us to our jobs, and we'll leave you to yours!" He said sternly boring through the door with the suspicion in his eyes.
