CHAPTER SIXTY-SIX
ROXANNE'S POV
"Thank you" I bowed slightly to the human compass that gave the direction to Edward's office. He was a stern-looking middle-aged man who looked like he had swallowed a gorilla. He responded to my greeting grudgingly, waving his gorilla hands like he was about to catch a butterfly.
Making sure my fury was intact, I took the long stride to the CEO's office in self-nurtured flame. My eyes were threatening to bulge out and my lips were twitching rapidly. If I had the chance, I would have killed Tarella. How could she waste my precious time? If she knew that her brain was filled with water and could not hold knowledge and understanding, why didn't she just inform me and send me away? Or was she so desperate for company that she deceived me to stay longer with her?
