CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE
EDWARD'S POV
I couldn't believe that she had accepted to get a ride from me without even dragging with me. My lips twitched into a warm smile that was made even warmer by her sensual perfumed presence.
"Why are you smiling?" She asked in careless abandon, taking a momentary glance at me.
"Nothing" I replied, blushing a shade of embarrassment pink. Never was I going to admit my butterfly-in-the-belly excitement. That would be too condescending.
I was very happy, for just the sight of her sitting beside me in my ride, made me giddy with happiness. Her long lashes batted slow and steadily, shielding her pale blue eyes from too much sun rays. With every gentle blink of her eyes, my stomach churned sweetly.
