"Riley dear, I've made your favorite flower biscuits. Why don't you come and join me and let's have them with some soothing tea" Sarah called out to her son "I'll be there mother, give me a minute" he replied her from his bedchamber. After a while, he appeared in front of the table she set up for them in their little garden which had magical sparkling flowers that were floating in the air, there was a small pond whose glittering blue water brightened up the garden, and had water lilies on its surface in one corner of the garden. "Have a sit Riley" Sarah said to her some when she spotted him "thanks mother" he said to her and sat down on the chair adjacent to his mother "I'm sure you helped those mortals win a war again" Sarah said to him while pouring tea in his cup "you saw me mother, why acting like you're just guessing" he said to a her with a simple smile.
"Why my son is talking so dryly and politely to me" Sarah said amidst laughing "you look really beautiful when laughing, mother" he said with a more polite tone "I don't like that kind of compliments, compliment me like a true son would do" she said with a dramatic expression. On hearing her, Riley smiled and stood up from his chair then went towards his mother, he stood behind her chair and wrapped his arms around her neck from behind "my mother is the most beautiful woman in all realms" he said and she smiled "if she goes to the mortal realm, a lot of young men would court her and ask her to be their bride" he added and she tapped his head jokingly and he moved towards his own chair.
"I think that will suit you mother" he said winking at her "you naughty boy" she said then stood up from her chair and started chasing her son round the garden. "Mother, my tea and biscuits would get cold, stop chasing me" Riley said amidst laughing while running from his mother "I won't until I spank your head" she replied him "but my biscuits would get cold" he said pouting really cutely "you practice fire magic, you can heat it" she said and hit him with rays of magic "urgh" he faked a painful cry and dramatically fell on the ground, Sarah smiled and went to him "I've got you now" she said and before she could say anything else, Riley pulled her to himself on the ground and hugged her from behind "no, I've got you mother" he said laughing hysterically.
"You're such a naughty boy" she said to him still laughing "are you happy now mother, I am no longer talking to you politely" he said still holding her "I love you Riley, so much" she said to him then turned to face him and planted kisses on his face "I love you too mother" he replied her smiling and she smiled back at him 'if only Dylan was here too, I wonder if you two would get along well' Sarah thought in her head 'I wonder how he's doing, I love you so much Dylan. I'm so sorry my dear sons, please forgive mother' she kept on thinking "mother, what are you thinking about" Riley asked her 'your brother' she said to herself "mother, what are you thinking" he asked her again "nothing" she said trying to fight back a tear that wanted to drop and hurriedly stood up so Riley won't see her face.

Dylan entered his bedchamber and took off is outer robe leaving only his pants on and revealing a broad chest with perfectly chiseled abs that would leave any woman drooling and his neck was adorned with a necklace that had a half pendant on it. He sat on his bed and crossed his legs in a meditating position, he then closed his eyed and blue mists of smoke enshrouded him. After a few seconds the heavenly emperor appeared in front of him "Dylan" the emperor called him "father" he replied with his eyes still closed but the smoke already started dissipating "I want to talk to you" Richard said and he opened his eyes "what about father" he replied him "Dylan, you know you are the next heavenly emperor" Richard said to his son "yes father, I know that. Why are you reminding me of that" he replied the emperor "I'm reminding you because of your nonchalant attitude" "you are so arrogant and you don't act like a true crown prince should do" Richard said "what do you mean by that, father" Dylan said with raised brows "you should know when and where to talk about personal things and when not to" "are you talking about those immortals" Dylan asked with a smirk "it's not about the immortals, instead it's about their next ruler" Richard replied him
'I wonder if Riley is doing great with Sarah, maybe if he were here, you would have been a little bit more responsible' 'Or maybe the empyrean cloud palace would have had a better chance of getting a better ruler' Richard thought to himself. "Father" Dylan called out to him and he broke out of his reverie "I've been talking to you, what are you thinking about" he asked "nothing, what were you saying" Richard replied him. "I said about those immortals, what were you discussing with them so seriously" he asked with a curious expression "the demon realm is planning to impose war on the heaven realm" Richard replied him "it seems that demon Lord hasn't learnt his lesson from the outcome of the previous war" Dylan said "when do you think they'll make a move and attack" he asked "they would make a move anytime soon. And about the demon Lord, I'm sure he planned this war to avenge his son's death" Richard said and turned to leave "take care father" Dylan said and lay back on his bed.

"Mother, what's wrong" Riley said when he noticed Sarah's change of attitude "it's nothing son" she said sniffing back the tears "are you crying, mother" "no, see" she said and turned to face her son "I told you I'm okay" "mother you can always tell me when something's wrong okay" "I promise, I'm okay" "so, am I free to have my snacks now, most beautiful bride in all realms" he said with a teasing smile "you naughty boy, you're free. Go ahead" she said shaking her head with a smile plastered on her face.
"Mother, I sense there's going to be some commotions in the heaven realm soon" Riley said to Sarah "I want to check and help in whatever little way I can, but I don't understand why you don't want me to have anything to do with the place even though I'm from there" he added "Riley son, we live near the flower realm for a reason" she replied him "but, you showing up in the heaven realm would defeat that purpose" she added. "I thought your love for flowers is what made you stay here instead of the heaven realm" Riley asked confused "it's not son" she said "then what is" he asked her "you'll know when the time's right son" she said with a sardonic smile. 'Your majesty, please take care of whatever problem the heaven realm is about to face, or our sacrifice for the past hundred years would be in vain" she thought to herself and looked at Riley 'my son, you show the true potentials of a true ruler, you took after the heavenly emperor just right' she thought and smiled sadly again.
