A few days later, Dylan was giving orders to his soldiers at the border separating the heaven realm from the demon realm; he was sitting under a camp tent which was set up for him by the soldiers. The demons were already at the border and were ready to attack at anytime, so Dylan led both his and the place's soldiers to border. "Is father in the empyrean cloud palace?" he asked his personal soldier "yes, your highness. The heavenly emperor is still there" the soldier replied bowing "good, make sure he doesn't leave there. The demon Lord must have a hidden plan; I can't risk father's life" he said with clenched fists "yes, your highness" the soldier replied and was about to leave but Dylan called him back "Jimmy, I want you to personally guard father. Do everything possible to convince him to stay back" he said "you have my word for it your highness" Jimmy replied him bowing and left.
"Demon Lord, you wouldn't learn your lesson until I show you what the heaven realm can really do" Dylan said to himself with an evil smirk.

On the other side of the border, a man wearing a black outer robe and black boots was talking to his daughter "Stephanie, I don't want you to join this war with the heaven realm" he said to her "I initiated this war to avenge your brother's death, that heavenly emperor has to pay" he added "but father, I want to fight and avenge brother" she said and before he could reply, a soldier in all black military attire walked in and bowed. "Demon lord, princess, we got a report from our spy that crown prince Dylan is on the other side of the border and the heavenly emperor is nowhere to be seen as of yet" he said with his head still bowed "father, this is a good chance to avenge brother" Stephanie said to her father "I can go there and finish off the crown prince that way you and the heavenly emperor would be even" Stephanie added smiling to her father, her large brown eyes made her smile more beautiful, her brown hair was pulled up in a ponytail. The black military attire she had on made her look dangerous and the sword that hung on her waist in its sheath made her look like a beautiful goddess of war.
"Stephanie dear, I still don't want you to go" the demon lord insisted "father, I promise that after this war, I won't go to any war with the heaven realm ever again" she pleaded with puppy-dog eyes and that worked on the demon lord "fine, but be careful" he said and she hugged him tightly "thanks father" she said and faced the soldier "gather everyone and spread word, we'll attack now" she said giving off the vibe of a true warrior "bye father" she said looking at her father one last time before disappearing out of the place leaving purplish-black smoke which dissipated not long after.

"Your highness, the demons have started to advance towards us" a soldier went to inform Dylan and he stood up from his chair "tell everyone to get ready, we move now" he ordered and then wore his armor, picked up his sword and disappeared to the frontlines of the battleground leaving only blue smoke behind. "Your highness, the demon lord sent his daughter instead of appearing himself" one of the soldiers on the frontline said to him when he appeared there "what silly game is demon lord Lewis playing this time" he said with a wicked smile "I don't know your highness, but we've got to be careful" the soldier said "don't worry Peter, no matter what his plan is we'll handle him just right" he said patting the shoulder of the soldier who was named Peter.
"Attack!!!" Dylan heard the demon princess shout to her soldiers from where he was and also ordered his men to attack and a fierce battle ensued between the heaven and demon realms with swords clashing and arrows being shot at soldiers of the opposing army. Black rays of magic could be seen moving towards the soldiers of the heaven realm and they blocked it with their shields while some sent rays of magic back to the demons.
After fighting for a while, Dylan got to the demon princess and they looked at each other with hatred in their eyes and after a few moments of staring their swords clashed and they stayed like that for a few seconds and Stephanie spoke up "so the rumors about a pretty boy crown prince are true" she said and pulled back to attack again but her attack was blocked and they stayed like that again but this time, Dylan spoke up "and so are the rumors about a beautiful warrior demon princess" he said and she smirked then attacked again but missed and Dylan spoke up again "when I defeat you I'd like to take you to my bed and celebrate my victory with your body" he said to her with a seductive smirk. "In your dreams pretty boy prince" she said and swung her sword again but her attack was stopped with blue rays of light that was shot from Dylan's palm.
She got angered and was about to attack again but Dylan was faster than her and he started attacking her this time, she tried to defend herself but his attacks were too fast and strong she could only try to dodge the attacks which was almost impossible. She started to shield herself with magic and it was a bit fair but the moment she slacked a little, Dylan pulled her closer to him and placed his sword to her neck and he also bounded her with magic so she couldn't move "let go of me" she said through gritted teeth "not yet princess" he replied and shouted out to the demons "retreat and I'll let go of your princess otherwise…" he said and looked at Stephanie slowly moving his sword on her neck "don't listen to him, keep fighting" she managed to say loud enough for her soldiers to hear "oh, really" Dylan said and held the sword tighter around her neck and she winced in pain and the demons had to drop their weapons and move back "scoff, you see princess, they love you so much" he said smiling.
"One more thing" he shouted out to the demons "tell the demon lord to quit wanting to avenge his son's death or I'll be glad to send his daughter's head to his palace" he added "you bastard, let go of me" Stephanie said trying to free herself all to no avail "not yet" he replied her "understood?" he asked the demons "yes, now release the princess" one of the demon soldiers said "it's such a pity that I have to let go of such a beauty" he whispered into her ear "I thought I would be having an awesome night with you tonight" he added seductively still holding her "I told you in your dreams, let go of me you jerk" Stephanie replied him "okay" he said and released her from his grip then used magic to push her towards her soldiers before freeing her from the bounding spell. "You wait and see pretty boy prince, I'll make you pay" she said and ordered her soldiers to retreat and they left for the demon realm, "I'd like to see princess" Dylan said with a smirk and also left with his soldiers.
