The moment both Moore and Katerina's hands touched each other, there was a thunderous explosion in the air. A jolt of kinetic energy in the form of electricity passed from Katerina's body through her hand and into Moore's body. Moore felt a surge of energy in his body, a new form of energy that seemed familiar to him, as if it was his own. His cellular membranes were rapidly undergoing changes. The surge of electrical energy moving through his body went straight to his brain's cerebrum, specifically the right side where the hippocampus, amygdala, and other related structures in the temporal lobe were located.
As his body underwent these transformations, Katerina finally spoke. "I am Katerina Heart, the CEO of the Heart Group. And you must be Moore Alexander," she said. Moore nodded and greeted Katerina. While staring at her, he thought to himself, although she was young and beautiful, she exuded a powerful aura and remarkable composure. Suddenly, Moore spoke to Katerina, "Have we met before? I have a deep feeling that we have." Katerina smiled and replied jokingly, "Maybe in a previous life, perhaps." Moore, not understanding what she meant, said, "I am sure I will remember soon enough." Katerina could only smile in response. Moore redirected his gaze to Madam Gee and said, "We meet again. It seems I have you to thank." Madam Gee, looking confused, said, "Don't be mistaken, this has nothing to do with me." Pointing to Katerina, she continued, "She is responsible for everything. If you must, thank her." Katerina seemed unfazed by their discussion. She was still staring at Moore, sensing that something was wrong with him. "Why can't he remember me now?" she thought to herself. She emitted a sense of anxiety, as if she were going through a dangerous experience. Moore felt strange; there was something fundamentally different about this person in front of him. He couldn't shake the feeling that he knew her. Secondly, he felt as if his blood was calling out to her. "Blood calls blood," he thought. Katerina just turned around and left his office, not before glaring at him one last time.
A few minutes later, Katerina was in her office with Madam Gee and Marcy Lane. She had a ferocious demeanor. She was clearly upset with someone or something. Her furious gaze met both Madam Gee and Marcy Lane. She asked, "Why can't he remember me?" She thought to herself, "Meeting me would have broken the barriers holding him down." Madam Gee, filled with so much knowledge, expressed a long sigh before saying to Katerina, "You need to be patient. These things take time. Remember, he has been dead for five hundred years. His memories will definitely come back. You have already triggered it. He will just have to access it himself." Katerina felt a little bit of relief and spoke again. "Okay, we just have to watch him closely." Turning towards Marcy, she said, "This task falls on you now. Report back any changes from now on."
Moore sat diligently in his office, deeply engrossed in his tasks, when a sudden unease began to cloud his thoughts. He grappled with a vague sense of inner turmoil, his recollections appearing blurred and disjointed. It was as though conflicting forces were locked in a silent struggle within him, stirring an unsettling sensation. The tranquility of his solitude was interrupted by a discreet knock at the door, prompting Moore to invite the visitor in. Marcy entered, bearing news of an esteemed visit from the head honcho, a gesture of recognition that Moore brushed off with a casual remark. However, Marcy's presence revealed a more profound intention as she enlightened him on her real purposeāassisting with his upcoming move to a new apartment. Though initially hesitant to accept her kind offer, Moore eventually acquiesced to Marcy's insistence, recognizing the genuine care and support behind her words.
After finishing work, they both got into Marcy's car and drove to the city mall once again. After about an hour or two, Marcy's assistant helped Moore purchase everything he needed. They then headed towards Moore's apartment with a lakeside view. Once they arrived, Marcy assisted with domestic chores before they sat down to eat dinner. Moore complimented Marcy's cooking, saying "I didn't know you were such a wonderful cook. The food tastes delicious." Marcy replied with a smile, "Why wouldn't I know how to cook? I come from a modest background. You just have to learn to do things for yourself."
After dinner, Moore smiled and asked, "Do you want to spend the night here?" Marcy calmly responded, "Do you want me to stay the night?" Moore replied, "We are both consenting adults and I do have a spare room available." Marcy replied with a smile, "Are you trying to get me into your bed? You'll have to try a lot harder than this." Moore then asked, "Do you still want to spend the night here?" Marcy replied, "Okay, no problem." Moore then said, "You can have the spare room."It was a night like no other for Moore as he found himself in the company of a strikingly beautiful lady in his own apartment. His thoughts swirled with a mix of excitement and anticipation, reflected in the malicious smile that crept onto his cheek. The presence of the lady stirred within him a sense of accomplishment, a reassurance that perhaps somewhere along his journey he had made the right choices.
Having his own apartment was more than just a convenience; it symbolized a level of achievement and independence that he had worked hard to attain. As he savored the moment, he couldn't help but reflect on the path that led him to this point. The flicker of satisfaction in his eyes hinted at a deeper sense of fulfillment, a realization that his efforts had not gone unnoticed.
In the quiet of the night, Moore's mind danced with possibilities, his heart pounding with a newfound sense of freedom and joy. The presence of the lady, the cozy ambiance of his apartment - all of it felt like a reward for the choices he had made along the way.
They both settled down for the night. After two hours, they were both sound asleep. Moore had a dream. He was in the astral realm, in a battle with himself. He saw two different sides of himself. He fought with his inner spirit, which was fighting with his spirit being. Two opposing forces were fighting to take control of his body. Each half was attacking ferociously, like two sides of a coin. Who will win?
Not long after, one side had the upper hand and was choking the other to death. While choking the other, he was screaming, "You have to remember who you are!" The scream grew louder and louder, "Remember who you are! Remember who you are!" And then a face appeared before him. He tried to make out the face, but suddenly woke up.
