Chapter 69 - Chapter 69: Capturing Kingpin

Uncle Miles' accidental death not only cast a pall over this morning, but also left a shadow on Peter's heart.

It's not that he was saddened by the Prowler's demise.

Peter was now somewhat influenced by the Noir Spider-Man's views on good and evil.

The Prowler was not a good person. Although he did not commit extremely evil acts, he did plenty of bad things. While Peter would not take the initiative to kill such a person, he would not be sad about his death either.

It's just that this thing called a curse or fate made him unconsciously think of his Aunt May again and again.

If he had to name the closest person to him most likely to be cursed, it could only be Aunt May.

However, although bad things happened, the results of this morning's battle were also gratifying.

The Noir Spider-Man killed the Scorpion - although MacDonald Gargan did not die, he was basically disabled, and his armor suit was directly dismantled by Peni.

In a sense, this could also be regarded as a kind of redemption.

From now on, MacDonald Gargan would no longer be affected by the Scorpion battle suit and cause trouble everywhere.

Afterwards, Aunt May even considerately called the mental hospital.

Now MacDonald Gargan had been taken away by the mental hospital's vehicle.

Tombstone never got back up after being knocked down because of Spider-Ham's presence.

After the battle, he was taken away by the police who arrived later.

As for his evidence of crimes, Kingpin must have it.

This was one of Kingpin's methods to control his subordinates.

Kingpin also failed to escape.

He originally wanted to run away.

But he was stopped by Spider-Gwen who had just returned after killing several gunmen.

When the two were entangled, they were seen by Peter who had learned the bad news from Miles.

Peter saw at a glance that the caliber of the pistol in Kingpin's hand was the same as the gunshot wound on the Prowler's chest!

Perhaps it was because of the same kind of hurt.

Peter immediately thought of Aunt May.

He thought, if Aunt May was also killed by these villains one day, what kind of dark situation would his world fall into?

In anger, Peter descended from the sky and punched through the door of Kingpin's extended Lincoln, then swung the door and directly cut off Kingpin's right hand holding the gun!

Spider-Gwen and Amazing Spider-Man B looked at Peter in astonishment, as if they were meeting him for the first time.

Kingpin fell to the ground in pain, but he was very tough and did not scream, keeping his mouth shut tightly instead.

Peter stepped on his chest and said, "I heard that you like to smash people's heads with your fists, and enjoy tearing off car doors and cutting off people's bodies to show off your proud physique? Now, why don't you taste this feeling yourself?"

"Ahahaha *cough* *cough* *cough*. Spider-kid, kill me *cough* *cough*," Kingpin's breath was knocked out by Peter, and he coughed violently, speaking intermittently.

"Kill you?" Peter sneered, "That's too easy for you! After killing you, the world will only remember you as the great philanthropist Wilson Fisk."

Kingpin was stunned for a moment. He vaguely guessed what Peter meant, and his expression became terrified: "You, you..."

Peter put his head close to Kingpin, and the weight of his entire body almost fell on Kingpin.

Fortunately, Kingpin was strong, and although he was having trouble breathing, he did not die.

Peter said slowly, word by word: "I will collect all the evidence of your crimes and the evidence against your protectors, and give one to them and one to the public. What do you think they will do to you in the end?"

"Will they value the so-called brotherhood, help you out, and then rescue you from prison?"

"Or will they give you a push and kill you before you give them up?"

Kingpin's eyes gradually filled with fear, staring at Peter's face, as if he wanted to see through the lens of his spider mask whether there was a terrifying demon hidden under the mask.

"No, no, no..."

Whoosh-

Peter shot out a spider silk and pulled a newspaper from the mailbox at the door of the neighboring house.

The front page of the newspaper read:

[Mr. Wilson Fisk, a great philanthropist in this city, recently donated experimental equipment worth $100,000 to Midtown Science and Technology Middle School. This is Mr. Fisk's fourth large charitable donation this year. He is truly amazing. Let us pay tribute to Mr. Fisk.]

Peter looked at the title, sneered, and slapped the newspaper onto Kingpin's face with the back of his hand.

"Mr. Great Philanthropist, enjoy this report, maybe it will be your last. Oh no, your last report may be: Wilson Fisk, the former great philanthropist in this city, turned out to be the notorious leader of Hell's Kitchen, the leader of a gang that profits from usury, drug trafficking, human trafficking and other businesses!" Slap!

Kingpin's large face matched the newspaper perfectly.

The newspaper was placed right on his face, and the report was right in front of Kingpin's eyes.

However, no matter how wide Kingpin opened his eyes, his pupils shrank unconsciously, and he could only see the last three words.

Philanthropist! The black words on the paper seemed to be flowing with blood, which was the best mockery of the world!

Snap!

Peter stuck the spider silk on Kingpin's face and body, tying him up tightly, and then used the spider silk to stop the bleeding from his severed arm.

After handling it, he picked up Kingpin like a chicken and stuffed him into the trunk of the extended Lincoln.

Then, he sat in with a grim look on his face.

He planned to take Kingpin to the Fisk Building first, collect as much evidence as possible, and then hand over the evidence and Kingpin to the police.

Just in case Kingpin managed to escape by some means while he was collecting evidence.

There was no doubt that with the Blond Spider-Man's understanding of Kingpin, he really had the ability to do this.

Therefore, they had to use thundering means to defeat him once and for all!

Not far away, Spider-Gwen, who had witnessed Peter's actions throughout, had a twinkling look in her eyes.

She had acquired spider abilities for almost two years, and had been Spider-Woman for almost a year, but in fact, she had always been in a state of avoidance.

It was not until her childhood sweetheart Peter Parker died because of this that she suddenly realized she should use this ability in the right way.

But in reality, even so, she was still just dealing with problems passively.

And now, Peter's strong approach seemed to have opened the door to a new world for her.

When encountering a problem, taking the initiative to solve it may be a good way.

Spider-Gwen blinked and stared motionlessly at the extended Lincoln in front of her, as if looking forward to Peter's next move.

However, the car did not move for a long time.

Until even the Amazing Spider-Man B in the distance came over and cast a puzzled look at Spider-Gwen.

The car window suddenly rolled down, and Peter's head popped out of the car window.

"Hey, uh...how do you drive this car?"
