Chapter 70 - Chapter 70: Office Passion

The extended Lincoln was driving on the street.

Amazing Spider-Man B acted as a temporary driver for Peter.

Thinking of the scene just now, Amazing Spider-Man B curled his lips, still a little unable to hold back his laughter.

Spider-Gwen also pursed her lips, and occasionally cast a smiling glance at him.

Peter didn't feel embarrassed.

He was only 15 years old, why would he drive a car?

The memories of the Blond Spider-Man were all fragments, and there was no mention of driving in them.

He couldn't drive confidently.

They were on their way to the Fisk Building.

In fact, they didn't have to rush like this.

But something unexpected happened.

When Peter was concentrating on dealing with Kingpin, Doctor Octopus suddenly attacked.

It turned out that she had already prepared countermeasures, and as soon as Peter left, she would break free from the spider silk and escape.

This was not particularly difficult for Doctor Octopus.

After all, she had fought Spider-Man for so many years, and she had already prepared some basic ways to fight back.

For example, a liquid storage compartment was set up in the fluid mechanical tentacle, and a liquid that could quickly dissolve protein was placed in it.

However, after escaping, Doctor Octopus did not bother Peter and the other Spider-Men again, but quietly left.

When Peter and the others found out, it was too late.

Considering Doctor Octopus' unstable mental state and her enthusiasm for science, they were a little worried about what she would do to the particle collider after she returned.

Fortunately, before they sent Tombstone away, they asked Tombstone about the news that the particle collider had just been turned on.

Under normal circumstances, it takes 10 hours of preheating to accelerate particles to near the speed of light.

However, to be on the safe side, they decided to split into two groups.

The first wave was Peter, Amazing Spider-Man B and Spider-Gwen. The three of them took Kingpin and rushed to the Fisk Building first.

On one hand, they collected evidence of Kingpin's crimes so that Kingpin could be completely defeated, and on the other hand, they monitored Doctor Octopus's actions.

The second wave was Noir Spider-Man, Peni Parker and Spider-Ham. They needed to stay and clean up the mess, such as watching Tombstone and Scorpion being taken away by the police to prevent another escape like Doctor Octopus.

They would arrive a little later.

As for Miles Morales.

Miles was very sad now. When Peter and others came to their senses and looked for him, they found that he had left alone.

Everyone tacitly did not disturb him.

Although the Prowler is a bad guy, he is Miles's uncle after all, and they are very close.

Most Spider-Men had experienced the feeling of losing their loved ones, so they could understand Miles now.

It didn't matter if Miles wasn't around for now.

Peter could stay and shut down the particle collider after sending them back.

Amazing Spider-Man B drove Kingpin's extended Lincoln and sped all the way. He soon arrived at the downstairs of the Fisk Building, and then swaggered into the building's parking lot.

There was no obstruction throughout the whole process.

Those guys who looked like security guards but were actually gangsters did not realize that their boss's car was not being controlled by their boss now.

In fact, Peter and the others were ready for a fight, thinking that the escaped Doctor Octopus might have strengthened her defenses or something.

Of course, it was good now.

It was best not to fight.

After all, the Spider-Men are not violent people.

After stopping the car, Amazing Spider-Man B stayed behind to look after Kingpin, while Peter and Spider-Gwen followed the outer wall into the interior of the Fisk Building.

Soon, they found Kingpin's office.

The two stood in front of a four-meter-high solid wood door, with two men in suits lying beside them.

The two were originally guarding the door, but they were knocked down by Peter and Spider-Gwen as soon as they met.

"Did this guy tear down the city wall and install it here?" Spider-Gwen exclaimed.

"Who cares? Anyway, Kingpin has been caught by us. Let's see how we destroy his evil empire!" Peter didn't care. He put his hand on the door and gently pushed it open.

This guy didn't even lock the door. He was really confident.

"Today, I will be a polite little spider who comes in from the front door," Peter smiled and walked into Kingpin's office.

What caught his eye was an extremely spacious office.

Marble columns, huge floor-to-ceiling windows, several sets of warrior armor displayed in the cabinets, and several priceless oil paintings on the walls.

Simple but not low-key, luxurious but not corrupt.

Peter made a comment: "Look..."

Buzz!

Just when he wanted to speak, the spider-sense suddenly jumped wildly.

Peter and Spider-Gwen quickly moved to the side.

Bang! Bang!

Two bullet holes appeared at the place where the two had just landed.

Peter turned his head sharply and immediately saw the source of the attack.

A row of small holes appeared on the wall not far away, and a gun barrel stretched out from each hole.

Just as Peter took a look, all the gun barrels opened fire.

Da Da Da -

The bullets gathered into two metal whips, sweeping towards Peter and Spider-Gwen.

The two immediately separated and ran along the wall on the left and right.

"No wonder the door is not locked," Peter said with a hint of speechlessness. It seems Spider-Man is more suitable for sneaking in.

It's rare to openly enter through the door, only to be chased and shot at by so many guns.

Fortunately, these guns were very rigid.

After a short period of observation, Peter discovered their pattern.

These guns should be equipped with some kind of infrared sensing device. Unless someone actively turns it off or carries something on the white list of the sensing device,

otherwise, they will keep following and shooting.

Until the bullets are empty.

However, Peter still found their weakness.

Blind spots!

Obviously, when Kingpin designed and installed these guns, he took into account Spider-Man, a strange creature that can attack from any direction - east, west, north, south, up, down, left, and right.

So the shooting angle of these guns is almost 360 degrees.

But this is the case when all the guns are considered as a whole.

However, in some places, only a small number of guns can hit there.

So Peter found the muzzles of those guns and blocked them with spider silk bullets first.

Then, he fell into the blind spot, moved both hands, and a series of spider silk bullets shot out, blocking all the remaining muzzles.

The air in the room suddenly became quiet.

Peter and Spider-Gwen breathed a sigh of relief and jumped down from the wall.

The two looked at each other.

Peter pointed to the cabinet on the other side: "You go over there, I'll go over here, and we'll act separately."

"Okay."

"Be careful, maybe Kingpin has set up some mechanism."

Spider-Gwen made an OK gesture.

So, the two of them took action.
