As Melted Cheese looked at Irene with wonder, she stood up and put on a charming smile.
"Miss Irene, or would you prefer High Sovereign? I am amazed by your dueling ability. Do you think you could teach me to be good enough to beat you?"
Hearing the younger woman speak boldly after being relatively easily beaten in a duel was a complete surprise; the way she worded the question sat wrong with Irene.
"You want me to teach you how to beat me? That seems strange; what would I get out of it anyway?"
Looking at the friendly-looking girl who looked barely old enough to play the game, Irene was curious and deeply annoyed; as someone proud of her skills, it was a clear offense to be looked down upon so openly.
