Chapter 13
A few days later, in a training ground. Inside the training ground, two figures stood on the water looking at each other.
They were standing on the water of a lake, one in a shaky fighting stance and the other relaxed standing in his place. They were none other than Naruto and Hinata. Naruto had a calm face, while Hinata was feeling a little nervous.
"Hinata attack me with all you have. I will only dodge or block your attack." Naruto said as he was ready to try and make Hinata more comfortable in fighting. He knew Hinata did not like to fight and according to his canon knowledge in the future, she would even give up the life of a shinobi. But that would be such a waste. He knew Hinata was talented, not sure how much, but with his help, he could see her reach a whole new level of power.
And so here he was trying to take the next step.
"Hinata you are also a shinobi, just like me, and you know as well as I do that in our line of job fighting and hurting are inevitable. You don't have to like it. But showing mercy to your enemy is cruelty to yourself and your allies." He said as Hinata looked a little shaken.
He softened his voice, "I don't want to lose you Hinata." Hinata looked at him, " I also don't want you to feel guilty when someone close to you gets hurt because you hesitated. I want to see you be confident in your, I want you to be safe."
"You may have to change a little but you will still be the same shy and sweet Hinata that made me fall in love with you," Hinata had tears in her eyes. " I know you can be strong, I believe in you, and if you are still not confident believe in me, believe in me who believes in you."
Tears were rolling from Hinata's eyes as Naruto walked to her, and captured her in a loving hug, "And even if you don't want to change I will still be with you... Just give it a chance I will do my everything to support you and help you." Both of them stood there hugging each other. The warmth of Naruto's body made Hinata more aware of the situation.
"Naruto-kun, sorry, I disappointed you..." Hinata mumbled as she was hugging him. They were supposed to spar with each other. Naruto didn't mind, Naruto was not sure if it was love but without any doubt, he liked Hinata, and liked her a lot.
From the time he found himself in the new world, he had done all he could to control himself. He uses many masks to help himself and hide all of his fears and insecurities. And even with putting all the barriers Hinata somehow took a place in his heart. No matter what he simply couldn't be angry at her.
"Silly girl, there's no way you can disappoint me." He said with a laugh as he hugged her even tighter. To that, Hinata blushed and had a small smile on her face, that she hid.
"Hinata there is a reason I am suddenly trying to help you get out of your shy nature," Naruto said as Hinata looked at his face, Hinata looked a little concerned because of the serious voice he used.
"In our last mission-," As Naruto started to tell about his last mission both of them stood on the pond hugging each other the whole time. They stayed there for hours talking to each other, their concerns and their dreams for the future.
And when the sun was setting Naruto walked Hinata to her house before saying her goodbye, leaving Hinata with a lot to think about.

'Man, finally,' Naruto thought to himself as he walked inside the hospital.
It was the next day after his heart-to-heart talk with his girlfriend Hinata. He finally got all clear to learn medical jutsu, and he was inside the Hospital to meet his new Sensei.
"You are right in time. Follow me, I am very busy." A male medic walked to him. " You can call me Nao-san or Sensei." Naruto had to quickly follow the medic named Nao as he was walking fast.
"This is your first day. I don't know how good your chakra control is. So, we will test it before anything." They entered a room as the Nao said to Naruto.
Nao went to the cabinet and took out a pot filled with sand.
"There are two colors of sand mixed in, you are going to try and divide them using your chakra." Naruto took the pot as Nao stood to the side, " And I will be the judge to consider your level."
Naruto wanted to show off by creating a Shadow clone without making any hand seals. But he decided against it, he had already made Yamato too shocked with his unreal Substitution jutsu.
"Shadow clone jutsu." With a call, a shadow clone appeared next to him, and he started to work on it.
"Why are you letting your shadow clone do the job?" Nao asked Naruto as he was curious, as far as Nao knew a shadow clone could do as much as the main body, maybe even a little less. That's not even considering the fact how easy it is to dispel a shadow clone.
"There is something that makes it harder for me to control chakra," Naruto said as he pointed at his stomach. Nao said nothing more as he understood. "Also my shadow clones will come here to learn medical jutsu."
"As long as they don't get dispelled while doing important things. I have no problem with that." Both of them stood there as they watched the shadow clone. About a few minutes later the shadow clone was done with his task.
"Not bad, I can even say it's far beyond my expectation." Nao continued to examine it as the shadow clone walked beside Naruto. Naruto also understood another thing and that was his new teacher was trying to keep his distance from him, not that he minded.
"Now that I know your level." Naruto watched as Nao took out dozens of books from a closet. "Just make sure to completely memorize them." To that Naruto had nothing else to say than nod, besides he was not going to slack off on becoming the best medic in the world. His chakra control problem was temporary and in the future, it would get solved anyway.
"You will have to completely memorize all of them. But at that time your shadow clone can work as an assistant to help the junior medics." Nao said as he walked outside of their room.
"I am going to introduce you to one of them. I am just too busy. Until you complete the basics I will not be able to help you much. But that doesn't mean you can't come to me, just make sure it's not something that will waste my time." They soon entered a staff room, where Naruto had to control himself from showing any reaction.
There in one of the staff chairs sat a very familiar person with glasses. And how could he not remember, it was none other than Kabuto Yakushi.
"This is Kabuto Yakushi, a junior medic. You will be in his care for the time being." Nao introduced him to the smiling teen.
"It's nice to meet you, Kabuto-senpai. I will be in your care." Naruto shook his hand with Kabuto with a happy smile on his face. His real feelings are all hidden behind his mask.
"It's also nice to meet you Naruto-kun. I look forward to working with you." Kabuto said with a harmless friendly smile. Naruto had to give some credit, even he felt relaxed from that smile. Without knowing the future he probably would not think of Kabuto as anything but a friendly senior.
'Slimy bastard has great acting skill. His friendly smile is even making me comfortable with him, even if I know he is an enemy and a future monster.' None of his thoughts showed on his face.
"Kabuto, Naruto will send his shadow clones most of the time. Help him, but also don't slack off." Naruto watched as Nao left like his job was done. Well, it was done but he didn't even look at him before leaving. Talk about being his new Sensei.
"Well, Naruto-kohai let me help you," Kabuto said as he took the books from his hand.
They were there for almost an hour. At that time Kabuto and Naruto talked to each other and Kabuto helped Naruto.

Hanabi was not sure what to do. Looking at her older sister she stopped herself from frowning.
Her sister looked like she was in a daze, looking at nothing in particular. The absentminded behavior made her worried.
She looked at her father who said nothing about the change, rather he was the same.
In her mind, she hoped that her father would do something to make her come out of the funk. But seeing him do nothing and go on like nothing happened she decided to do it herself.
And so after dinner, she followed her sister to her room. Closing the door she looked at her sister with a somewhat worried face.
"Nee-san, I don't know what happened, but I want to help you get out of the funk," She frowned a little seeing no change in her sister or even sighs of talking to her. " I-I..." She stuttered as she thought what she was going to say. It was shameful for a Hyuga but," I am worried, OKAY. You were happy and now you are like this. What happened?"
For almost two months her sister was far happier than she was ever before. Because of her father's order she didn't look into it, but now she thought she should have kept an eye on her sister. At least her sister would not be like that.
"Hanabi... I am happy... that you are worried about your sister..." Hanabi looked wide-eyed as her sister said it all. Hinata had a small relieved smile, as she softly said to her.
Hinata went to Hanabi and took her in a hug. "I promise you, I will not make you worried about me, never." Hanabi was not sure what to say, and so she hugged her back.
In her mind, she hoped her sister would go back to being happy. And also her new plans to follow her sister. She would find out the reason even if her father forbade her.

"So, the renewal of the peace treaty with the Waterfall village went without any problem," Hiruzen said to his two elder advisors and friends Koharu and Homura. They were inside a meeting room, sitting on a chair, each with a cup of tea in hand.
"It's just Young Shibuki that makes me worry about the future of the Taki Village." He took a sip of tea, and let out a sigh.
"You mean his cowardly nature. Or is it because of his time as the leader of Taki the village is at its weakest? All that not even mentioning the fact most of their shinobi left the village because of his leadership." Koharu said not an ounce of sympathy from her. And Hiruzen knew the reason, Taki village was more of a baggage than anything. Taki didn't even have the shinobi to guard its border and Leaf had to do the job.
None of them were also not interested in the so-called "Hero's water". The only two reasons he was still okay helping Taki were because of it having the Nanabi and it being the border to stop Iwa.
Not that they would let anyone kidnap or steal Nanabi or its host.
"I simply don't understand how could someone like him become a leader of a shinobi village... The more I see him the more disappointed I get." Koharu huffed showing her annoyance.
"By being the son of the past leader. It's his inheritance." Homura said a little amused at it all.
"There's no need for us to do anything more. Taki has signed to have friendly relations with us for another 10 years. We should let it slide as they are now our allies." He tried to calm Koharu's annoyance.
"I am annoyed because they can't bring anything to the table. They see the "Hero water" as more important than their lives. I asked a little for research and that coward jumped up like I asked for his whole village." Koharu explained her reason for annoyance and calmed herself.
"And here he wants shinobi from the leaf to protect him till he reaches Taki," Homura said as he took out a mission request scroll.
"Wait! Are you telling me a leader of a shinobi village is asking for protection from another shinobi village!?" Koharu looked wide-eyed at him, he stopped himself from reacting, but he had the same reaction when he first saw that.
"Does Taki village even have a future!? This brat is so much worse of a leader than I ever thought!" Koharu even raised her voice making him wince a little. Then she looked at him and he knew a problem was coming.
"Sent a team to protect him. But make sure they also get the information on Nanabi's host and its situation. I don't trust this kid to make more of a mess than he already made. Just Imagine Nanabi flying in the sky and attacking from the sky." Even he felt a chill go down his spine thinking about the nightmare of the situation. He simply could not let something like that happen.
"Sending Team Ro will do the job," Koharu suggested after she calmed down.
"Kakashi is in the wave village, and can't come back for a month or so. But I have another team in mind." Hiruzen said as he put down his cup of tea, on the table.
"Cat is too busy and already stretched thin with her work. Besides guarding the village is far more important." Koharu said as Homura silently listened.
"No, I am thinking about sending Team 7. Yamato can look into Nanabi's host situation. And there is no bounty on young Shibuki's head, making the chances of a shinobi attack even lower." He thought to himself and found no oro with it.
"What do you two think about it?" His question met with a huff from Koharu.
"I told you before, and wouldn't say it again, I don't want to do anything with that problem." To that, he looked at Homura who said nothing.
"Okay, then the meeting ends now." Hiruzen and his elders left the room soon after.
A few minutes later, Homura walked into a forest and left a paper down, he left soon after that. One thought on his mind.
'I have repaid the favor, Danzo.'
The paper vanished from its place soon after.
