Chapter 15 - Warfare

Warfare's story isn't interesting, only that he got teased alot because of a girl's name. Wasn't anything serious yada yada yada till the serious part comes and his mom got killed by the Royal Beast Prince, which was trying to cover up his crime but by the time he finished, Warfare found out about it.

Looks like his dad even went along, which is why Warfare has his personality in the first place.

Smoke was rising from the middle of the tents as Klee overcame the embarrassment and started to explore wherever he was. It looked like a human camp from the outside, but it was actually a whole different species that Klee was sure he never heard about.

They had beaks! They had fur! They walked on all fours! They looked like your average owl but without the wings and instead the fur!

They talked human! They talked a different language that Klee knew that he heard before but can't remember!

"... Ofcourse, captain. It will be a pity if we don't reach tomorrow's dawn." One of the things said, now using it's back legs. "Getting to the Scylla Kingdom won't be easy, but our items will be off the shelves now that group 8 destroyed the other ones!"

Klee knew about the Scylla Kingdom. The Scylla Kingdom is a rare sight to actually see. For a short explanation, it's hidden, like hidden hidden when it comes to finding it. You can see citizens everywhere, but can't find the Kingdom itself, and why you may ask?

It's deep in history, but another kingdom that already fell and it's name is forgotten attacked Scylla. Basically the population went downhill to a whole 60% loss since it was a surprise attack, and that kingdom long finished updating its status, causing the others to not know how much it grew.

Now it's a well hidden kingdom, and nobody really knows where it is.

There are a total of 20 Kingdoms, and only 3 of them are kingdoms that are literally legends.

There are two Empires, and don't ask how they managed to create two Empires.

The first one is Quill's Sull. It belongs to humans and only a few species, including 'Firrs,' 'MangHunt,' and 'Godlings.'

The second is named Eden Fay. It's all the other species, and ever since 3 centuries ago when it was created, it actually proved to be useful with it providing new species showing up.

10 kingdoms on Eden Fay and 10 kingdoms on Quill's Sull. 2 legends with Eden Fay and one legend on Quill's Sull.

Maybe I can go there for my first clue? Klee thought immediately.

It might just be luck, but being teleported close to citizens of Scylla was a fate.

I could get resources too.. it didnt matter about his family forgetting him, but it would've been nice to prepare before coming into this strange occurrence.

Klee never knew about him being a Demigod, and already overcame the shock when he woke up. Now the only thing that was a question is if it was his mom, or his dad that was the god.

Sighing, Klee now needed to know how he was going to get into the hidden kingdom, and..

His thoughts were cut off with a panel that popped infront of his face, saying,

{System:Recovery}

{Window}

{ |Home| |Updates| |Reports| |Quests| |Goal| |Progress•| }

Beside Progress, none of the others had a dot, and Klee didn't pay attention to it.

Klee just stared blankly at panel. ...was this what the system was saying? He recalled when he was just sitting in a tree, bored, suddenly seen all of whatever happened, apparently the world becoming a game world, and it was talking about all kinds of nonsense.

Nonchalantly, Klee started to get curious of the panel, and clicked Home.

{(X) |Home|

Name: Klee Martin

Age: 23

Skills: None (Claim your skill in Progress!) }

Was that why the Progress had a dot? Guessing the (X) was important too, he tapped it and it closed, showing the original panel again.

Then he tapped the Progress, which showed;

{(X) |Progress| New!

•Your Progress is updated!

(Skill name: Planning. This skill will allow you to summon a blueprint, and you can write plus plan on it anytime! You don't have to restock it, since it's infinite. Select a word or say [Plan] to summon a blueprint!)

"This..this is sick!" Jumping in pure bliss, Klee knew that Warfare was his suited position.

"Who's there?" A voice came, startling the happy man. "Show yourself!"

It seemed like the things had great hearing skills, which was a great overestimate for Klee just was to loud, and had heard his words, along with his jumping.

He hid himself, quickly, then looked over the edge.

"What? I didn't hear anything," The other one said, sounding a bit foggy. The first thing looked mad, saying, "ofcourse you didn't, your mind is only on the items and sales!" It chirped.

Doubt clouded the second one's face. "Are you like completely sure? Because you know how Owlheads have a slightly bad sense of hearing."

Then it started to look doubtful itself, it swiftly being cleared off the face.

"I'm sure," the Owlhead said with a cocksure tone.

Shit. Quietly Klee stood up, and started to creep away from the ledge, but then remembered the advantage he will have if he stayed and went with them.

Shit. Now I'm not sure anymore.

"Shit, I'm not sure anymore." The two thoughts came together.

"I don't see anything." A random Owlhead was perched on the edge that Klee was just on, and he was shocked.

Apparently his legs said otherwise and carried him to a hiding spot, which Klee didn't realize that he was walking the whole time while thinking.

The Owlhead definitely looked creepier up close, but it looked like it's hearing and sense of smell was shit.

Then he saw something blurry above the Owlhead's head, which said [Merchant Owlhead], and seen it's level.

Level.. level 4? It was so weak!

They look so damn scary but are weak?!

"Urgh! What the?" Merchant Owlhead almost fell in surprise. "A Weakest Demigod? Staring at me?"

Fuck. Klee never just thought that the message would actually work, and when the Demigod was closer, it operates better.

"Hey... aren't they supposed to be targeted?" The merchant asked the other Owl heads as they climbed upward, and one of them spoke in a high tone, "I'm sure! The 5 Demigods are supposed to be targeted!"

"Are you sure this is one of the 5 Demigods? I'm doubting because it said 'Weakest Demigod,'" instead of being panicked, more surprised or still in shock, the Owl heads started to debate whether it was the targeted Demigod or not.

Then the merchant said in a loud and final decision voice, "well, this is a Demigod! Should we hunt it down?"

"That's stupid! We could get killed!"

"Guys!" A Owlhead with a pink bandana tied around its neck that just came from the tents said with a excited voice, "we'll be in danger if we do that, but I have a better idea! Since we're treated badly and have nothing to lose, let's serve 'em!"

That's the story of how Klee somehow got his first companions.
