My mother sounded so worried and frustrated but I sighed in relief and sat down on one of the closest kitchen stools when she stopped talking.
The fact that she didn't try to judge me or scream at me for not listening to her is a cause for celebration, I wouldn't be able to take it, I would break totally if my mother jabbed at me.
I'm already in so much pain and confusion as it is now.
