Wang Daniu ran to the creek, filled a bottle with river water, and hurried back to where Jiang Yuting was waiting.
As he made his way, he pondered whether or not to tell Jiang Yuting about the romantic encounter.
But when Wang Daniu hurried back to the spot, he found it deserted, and Jiang Yuting was nowhere to be seen.
"Auntie, where are you?" Wang Daniu shouted a few times, but there was still no sign of her.
