She stared at me dumbfoundedly. Looking straight at me as she analyzes every word I just confided in her like she was solving a riddle. As she slowly walked towards me, my heart was pounding faster and faster, almost deafening me. I wanted to move away from her and didn't wish to stay close at this moment, because I may not control my emotions and do something that most probably would trigger her rage. But the more she took a step forward, closing our distance, the more I was rooted from where I stood and couldn't step away even an inch.
"Drowning from where, Gabriel? From work? Too much work could kill you, you know. You should at least have a day or two of relaxation to give yourself a break."
