The convention will start later at ten. I called and instructed Emma, who would also be attending, to inform me an hour before my said speech. I desired to spend some hours with Angelou first before I start my day working. If not for the convention, which I had already engaged myself with, there's no way in hell I would be leaving home today.
Although I wasn't expecting her to wake up early today, due to most probably lack of sleep since it was almost three in the morning when she headed back inside earlier, I was still hoping to see her before I leave.
My face lit up when I heard a servant greet her a few meters away. Frantically not wanting to look obvious that I was waiting for her presence, I scrambled and immediately grabbed the newspaper near me and pretended to be reading as I felt her presence enter the dining room.
