A week has passed since our guests departed and Theodore returned home. I hate to admit it, but our time together was unexpectedly fun. We spent our days attending classes together and engaging in sparring sessions, which landed us in trouble twice, and Theodore taught me how to communicate with Lynn without forming a contract.
Now, I stand before Mother, determined to confront the buried issues. "Mother, may I ask what's troubling you?" I inquire, my voice laced with sincerity. I want to mend our broken and wounded relationship. The memories of our troubled past still linger, and the words she spoke still sting like an open wound. Yet, I'm resolute in my decision to put aside the pain and start anew. I don't want the past to repeat itself. I'm willing to let go of the past and work towards healing our bond.
