Chapter 2 - Chapter One

A glimmering white sphere floated amidst a mystical coral cavern in the depths of the ocean. Bright pink eyes widened in wonder at the breathtaking sight and blue slender fingers reached out to touch the sphere.

Upon contact, a rumble sounded as cracks appeared on the surface, its bright glow fading into the depth.

The girl backed away in alarm and watched wide-eyed as the sphere exploded, revealing a single girl. The scaled girl immediately swam down to her and brought her to the surface.

Within a few seconds, the older girl's eyes fluttered open, galaxy-violet irises glancing around to assess her surroundings before landing on the girl in front of her.

"Who are you?"

Her tone was steady and almost demanding, her voice held no panic or fear. She held herself on guard, studying the person before her, from her bright pink hair and blue skin to the scales and fins on her body.

"Adha, you?"

The girl relaxed a bit, satisfied by what she saw.

"Tusara," she said simply, "Where am I?"

Adha blinked but complied anyway.

"The western corner of Soha's beach. I saved you from drowning."

Tusara glanced at her wet white dress and combed through her snow-white hair.

"It seems so," she sighed, "Where could I find some dry clothes?"

"I could get you some new clothes! I mean, some that are more practical considering I could just dry your dress…" Adha said thoughtfully.

"Way ahead of you, Camda."

The girl jumped at the sight of her dolphin-skinned friend who'd appeared out of the blue.

"Seriously, Hanie? She didn't even—"

"I'm good with that," Tusara interjected with a chuckle when Semimoon pouted at her.

"You're going the wrong way."

Adha groaned and plopped to the ground, still soaked to the bone.

"And you're telling me this now? After we travelled for one and a half hours?!"

Tusara blinked.

"I thought you knew what you were doing. Besides, it wasn't that bad."

Adha lay down and pouted.

"I don't understand how someone who was trapped in an ice sphere for god knows how long has this much speed and endurance," she muttered.

She heard some footsteps move away from her and she looked up to see Tusara walking away. Adha hurriedly got up to catch up to the white-haired girl.

"Hey!— Tusara..?"

She turned to look at what was in front of her and took a spontaneous step backwards at the sight of the giant crater before her.

Tusara gazed inside of it without worry and jumped down, instinctively landing on her feet. Adha stayed back as her sudden companion walked up to a lightning sphere similar to the one she had been trapped in and placed both her hands on it, her expression focused.

The sphere exploded into a bright gust of wind.
