Re: Omen Online
Five years remained in Bavas' long life.
Past the year 2100, due to advances in science, the year of your death became known, but the ability to extend your life also existed - if you had enough money to pay for it.
Bavas retired from the military, and knew he had five years left to live. He married a beautiful young wife that kept him young in more than one way, but finally got tired of having to hop around on one leg.
He purchased the game [Omen Online] where life moves 50 times faster. His five years in the game are turned to 250. He doesn't see anything to lose by spending 5000 dollars to purchase the state of the art equipment for it instead of spending it on fixing his shot off leg.
The only problem is an insane voice in the game keeps making up these random quests about something called the Nothingness. A force so vile that it wants to take over the entire planet just so it can completely understand it.
By the way, he also can't log out of the game unless it wants him to. It's like the mother he never had, demanding and making him do odd missions while his girlfriend waits in the closet.
Wait, mother's don't do that.
Anyways, hope you enjoy this story.

If we make it to anywhere past 300th on the ranking, I'll increase the chapter posting rate.
