"Why are you so surprised?" Lilian asked her husband.
"I am not just surprised, I am appalled! Woman, how could you suggest we do such thing? Do you not know how implicating that can be?" Williams asked and peered at his wife like she wasn't the woman he knew and had been living with for more than a decade.
"So, you want to go and give him the money that you don't even have?" Lilian asked in disbelief.
"No. But that idea of yours is totally impossible!" He maintained.
"Why not? I have not seen anything that is impossible in this world." She deadpanned.
"So, let's say I agreed to go with that ridiculous idea of yours, how do we execute it and go scot-free?" He inquired.
"How can we try to cover a crime with another one?" Williams added.
"And what do you think will help cover up a crime? That is the only option we have, so stop being a coward." Lilian gritted.
