"So, what were you thanking me for, earlier?" Daniel asked her as seeing her being submissive, had calmed him down.
"Just for everything, master! I am grateful for everything that you have done for me so far." Emma replied Daniel with a small fake smile, while she boiled inside.
"Really? Well, I will advice you to keep being submissive and not harbor any funny ideas as that will only land you in more trouble and you will have yourself to blame." Daniel warned her, as if he knew she had something up her sleeves.
"Wait, what? Can he see through me, already? Am I that bad at acting?" Emma panicked.
"Well, whether that was a guesswork or he is actually very smart and observant to detect I am just acting for him, I still won't give up on my plan. I would rather try to improve on my acting and make him stop doubting me." She made up her mind.
