I woke up, the sunrays shined onto my face. My body felt light, i took a big breath digesting the warm cool air early in the morning. I looked at the time and it was 7:10.
"Its still very early...i wonder what i will do today?"
Then i realized, i saw some footprints near by the river, when that beast suddenly tackled me. Then i saw the quest.
QUEST: NAVIGATE YOUR WAY TO THE NEAREST VILLAGE
REWARD: 50 EXP AND 5 SKILL POINTS
I had decided to finish this quest today, since there were sings of footprints, then, civilization is close. But, i was considering the distance between where i saw the footprints, compare it to where i am now, then the distance must be at least 1 kilometer.
"That is far"
One thing i've learned from watching survival videos, is that remain calm and persistent.
"Don't worry i will find a way to navigate my way to the nearest village"
Hyping myself up, I decided to set out on a journey, leaving behind this makeshift shelter, i just hoped that i will not run into that Fenrir again. After eating breakfast, it was 8:15 i decided to finally set on a journey to find nearest village.
There were a lot of things inside this side of the forest, the river is not guiding me anymore. I have carved out a number every hundred steps onto a tree, so that if i ever get lost, i can know whether i have been in this place or not.
Being lost inside the forest is not that rare, it is pretty common for people to get lost, especially if they are a alone, or by themselves. Being calm and being aware of your surrounding environment, can help you get out of the forest. Well, that is if they have roads, and trails that are accesible by people.
But, i doubt that there are roads inside this forest. That is just my speculation, so i am not completely sure if that is the case. I continued walking north, hoping to find a village there. After a few thousand steps, i was getting thirsty. I pulled out a bottle of water out of the inventory and rested for a while, it was 10:50, indicating that i have walked at least two hours now. Even though i have been walking for two hours, i still cannot find a village.
I continued walking, while observing the different kinds of wildlife inside the forest. I have encoyntered several wild animals, some of them were Hags, which is the equivalent to a rabbit in the original world. I tried catching them, but they were too fast. Since, i am still level 3, i have a hard time catching little rodents.
While there are some fruits, i can see their names and if they are edible or not, by touching the question mark button. There were a lot edible fruits, and some were not edible.
I had picked out several fruits that are very common, there were wild berries and apples that i picked out. I stored them inside my inventory, there are at least a few wild berries that stacked on top of each other, and plenty of apples too. Since, food does not rot inside the inventory, it was safe to put them inside, then it is to just carry them around inside a bag.
The sky was clear, the sun was shining brigh, thanks to trees that provided me with shade, i had no trouble dealing with the sun. It was already 12:08 at noon, i was getting hungry after walking at least a few kilometers inside the forest. I took out an apple out of the inventory and sat for a while, when i took a bit of the apple, the taste was indescribable, it tasted like it was a mix of every single fruit i have tasted.
The texture of it was something made out of a factory, it was unnatural. I mean...everything inside this world in unnatural. But, it was the first time i have eaten an apple that was this delicious to the tounge. I have eaten at three apples right now, the hunger and thirst that i felt was gone, just from eating three apples.
I don't know if whether i want to go back to the original world or not, i wanted to live inside this world forever, and not returning to the original world.
Then, all of a sudden. I felt the ground shake, the birds inside forest began to fly away. I knew i was in danger, but, for some reason, there were no exclamation mark above my head. I was thinking, if i am in danger or not. But, then i heard horses neighing at the distance. People shouting and sreaming inaudibly.
"What the hell?!! Why all of a sudden?"
I was confused, because there were no noises made by people or no horses making noises, about five minutes ago. That part made me confuse, walking cautiously. I approached where the noises were made, i blended into the bushes so that i would not be seen.
Because most of the time, people are hostile to someone that suddenly pop out of nowhere. Because that will startle them, making them hostile towards you. So, i decided to slowly approaced where the sound is coming from. After walking a few meters, i saw a silhouette of a person at the distance.
There was a question mark above his head, indicating that he is either a friend or a foe. I was being careful not to be heard, after i got closer, for about ten feet away from him. He walked away, now there were no people. I decided to see what was the main reason why such an abrupt noise roared.
As soon as i got closer, i could see that there was a jousting event going on. Then the quest suddenly appeared in front of me, saying that...

There was a new quest that popped up, i pressed on the new quest, it said that...
QUEST: BLEND INTO THE VILLAGE AND MAKE A CONNECTION TO AT LEAST 5 PEOPLE.
REWARD: 100 EXP AND 5 SKILL POINTS.
"Blend and make connection to at least 5 people?"
Sounds easy enough, but, what did it mean by blend? Then i realized...
"Oh yeah, the clothes that i am wearing are not from this world"
Appearing to the people here with my clothes, will make them think that i am a witch or some kind of deity. Either way, it is not good for me, since i do not like attention that much.
I had figure out a way for me get some changing clothes without being noticed. I looked around the place, and i saw a clothes being hanged around a clothing hanger. It was near the forest, so it is easy for me to grab them without being noticed. And also, people here are focused on the joust event, to notice me.
I slowly approached the clothing hanger, there was some distance seperating the clothing hanger and the forest. Which means, i have to walk outside the forest and risk being seen to grab some clothes. I had to gamble the risk, my heart was beating very fast, i almost feel that i could throw up.
I looked around, to see if there is a person that is watching. Analyzing the area, i can conclude that there was not a single person watching. Then, i took a big breath and run towards the clothing hanger. After taking some clothes, i ran back directly to the forest, and had to hide away so that i can change.
After changing, i stored my previous clothes inside and confidentally walked outside the forest, without anyone noticing. I started to walk around the area, there were a lot of people yelling and shouting over who won the joust. People were getting rowdy and two people started a fistfight, i was right behind them and they bumped into me as i was trying to walk around. The crowd started cheering for whoever gets the high ground, i was minding my own business and got out of there real fast.
I was looking around, there are a lot of people that were wearing armor, i realized that the time period here was around the medieval period. I was astonished by the people here, they were a lot more cheerful and more social than the original world.
I was experiencing what people were like back in the day, i feel like a time travel. When i was trying to walk past a group of people, i accidentally bumped into one of them. I apologized, and went my way. Suddenly, one of them started to grab my shoulder, stopping me from walking.
