I turned around to face the guy who placed his hand on my shoulder.
"Stop right there, who are you?"
I stared at his face, he had brown hair, his face is a lot different than the modern time, he was wearing ragged clothes, with multiple layers, he had a sword on his side, he began to walk closer towards me, until his face is in front of me.
"I said who are you?"
"I'm nobody, i am sorry that i bumped into you"
I did not want to get in any trouble with these people, i tried to get away from them. But, for some reason he refused to let me walk away.
"Give me your name?"
He asked for my name, i did not want to give out my real name, so i had thought of a fake one.
"Umm...its Alexander"
He hummed as he heard the name i had thought of on the spot, while directly at me.
"Well then, Alexander, i am sorry for intruding your privacy. I am Tor, nice to meet you, well go on our way now"
He nodded his head, then faced the opposite direction and walked away. A question mark had appeared above his head, apparently, he is a mercenary and is lvl 21. I could only see people's name, title and level and not their personal info.
"He sure is strong"
I had strolled the area, the vendors sold all kinds of stuff, be it food or weapons. There were a lot of people walking around, i have noticed that all of their clothes were ragged. There were beggars on the side begging for money, i wanted to give them at least small change, but, i did'nt have any money on me. Since, the method of payment are through coins and not paper bills. Although, that is the case, i still don't have no money on me, so i tried my best to ignore them.
It was around 4:09 in the afternoon, the jousting event ended, and people were slowly leaving the arena. I was sitting on a nearby tree, watching people leave, some were getting rowdy and started fighting, it was so much different than the original world. It is much more lively here then the original world.
'Cough cough'
I had heard someone coughing near me, i had turned my head to see where it came from. Then, i was surprised by a girl, she had blonde hair, freckles on her face, she had stunning green eyes, long and sharp nose, it was like seeing a supermodel right in front you. It was my first time seeing someone so beautiful up close, i was mermerized by her beauty.
(Quick disclaimer: i am bad at describing things, sorry)
"Umm...yes?"
I did not know what to say to her, she just appeared out of nowhere, she did not give me a chance to properly formulate a sentence.
"Hmm...what are you doing under this tree?"
I looked at the tree and then the ground.
"Uhmm...sitting?"
I could not read on what she felt when i said that as a response, her expression were blank, but i did see a small smirk on her face.
"I apologized for my rudeness"
"No no, don't be. I was the one who had snuck up on you, without you being aware"
But...why would she do that tho? I do not know, i really do not understand people.
"....."
I tried to keep the conversation going, but i do not know what to say. So, i just sat there akwardly, while staring towards the people.
"You know..."
She faintly said, i turned to face her so that i could hear in what she is saying.
"...you know, what?"
I asked kindly.
"Hmm...you are not from here, arent you?"
'Internal thoughts: What?? Does she know that i came from a another world?'
"Wh-what do you mean by that?"
I was nervous if she knew that i came from a another world.
"Its because of the way you talk"
The way i talk? I thought to myself.
"The way i talk?"
I was confused as to what she meant by that.
"Yes, it is my first time someone had talk to me this...informally"
She said informally seperately from the rest of the sentence, for some reason, i had a feeling that she did not in fact had someone talk to her this informal.
"Oh...im sorry, it is just the way i talk"
She did not respond, she just stared at my face and then approached me, she stroked my hair gently, inspecting my physical appearance carefully.
I was weirded out by her sudden behavior, i slowly leaned back, giving me and her some distance, cause her face was close to my face.
"Umm...what are you doing?"
She backed off as i asked her that.
"What is your name? If you don't mind me asking"
She suddenly asked me for my name, so i responded the same as i responded to that guy that i bumped to earlier.
"It is Alexander"
She raised her eyebrow, as if she was expecting anything.
"What?"
She smiled faintly as i said that.
"Are you not interested in knowing my name?"
"Nah, i'm good"
She was flabbergasted by my response, that her face was full of confusion.
"That is the first time someone rejected me...i find you amusing, very well then, if that is what you want, then ill be on my way then"
"Okay, take care"
She had turned her back on me, i was too casual with my responses, i think this is the result of me not socializing with other people.
I had expected her to walk away from me, but i was surprised when she turned back around to face me once again. She had this smile on her face, i do not know the reason why she is smiling.
"Are you really sure not wanting to know my name?"
She keeped asking me the same question again, i kinda find it annoying.
"Umm...yeah? What is wrong with that?"
She was dumbfounded the way i responded to her question. She was laughing afterwards.
"What? Why are you laughing?"
"You really are amusing, i hope that we will encounter each other again in the future Alexander, by the time we meet each other again, i will let you know my name"

Then she ran off, disappearing onto the crowd. I was confused by the suddent interaction, because of my personality and attitude, people normally just avoids talking to me, so this kind of interaction was a surprised to me. Especially, from a girl that beautiful.
"I wonder why she was giving me her attention?"
I had looked at the time, and it was almost five. I had to figure out a place where i could stay temporarily, i mean, or i could sleep under this tree.
I decided to sleep under this tree, it was way better staying inside an inn. Since i do not have any money, i can't afford to stay in an inn. When night fell, the posts that i have thought were decorations, suddenly lit up and acted as a lightpost. The time was 7:31, i was getting hungry, so i decided to set camp under the tree that i had sat on earlier.
Gathering some dry branches, i stacked it on top of each other and brought out the lighter i had inside the inventory. I waited for the fire to get big enough, so i can cook some canned goods. After a while, i cooked some canned goods. It was around 8:10 in the evening, i was eating peacefully under the tree admiring the lightpost. When all of a sudden, there was a kid clearly hiding on a barrel.
"He must have smelled the food that i had cooked"
I called out the kid, he was startled at first and ran away, but for some reason he stopped and then slowly walked towards me. The light from the fire made it clear for me to see his appearance, the kid had worn and torn clothes, he had a dirty face and was barefooted. He was cautious of me, but he kept staring at the canned goods i had in my hand. I reached out my hand and asked him...
"You want one?"
He looked at the food, and then at me. He gestured if it is okay for him to eat it, i nodded and gave it to him. It cooled off, so it was safe for him to hold it with his hand. When he was busy eating, i pulled out another out the inventory, due to the low visibility he did not notice, and also he was occupied on eating the canned goods.
I could tell that he enjoyed it, it looked like he did not eat anything for many days. I cooked another and he kept looking at it, his mouth was watering, even though he had already eaten one, he wanted another one. So i shared my portion to him, he was delighted when i shared it with him.
